Remove the remote control batteries base and AC DC power adapter 2 Remove the TV from the box and lay it face down on a clean flat surface Note Make sure that the surface is free of debris to prevent the TV screen from getting scratched Attach the TV stand base 1 Push the stand base onto the stand neck already connected to TV making sure the arrow on the base points toward the front of the TV 2 Onthe bottom of the base tighten the thumb screw Move the TV into an upright position Toward front of TV Stand Neck Slide stand base on here Front of TV 8 Y www VIZIO com VIZIO VM190XVT VM230XVT User Manual Wall Mounting Your HDTV Your HDTV can be mounted on the wall for viewing If you choose to mount your HDTV on the wall follow the instructions below 1 Write down the serial number located on the back of your HDTV 2 Remove the stand base and neck a Disconnect the cables from your HDTV b Place your HDTV face down on a soft flat surface to prevent damage to the screen c Flip the base to a 90 angle This will keep the stand neck out of view after the base is removed d Loosen the thumb screw and remove the stand base 3 Mount your HDTV on the wall a Attach your HDTV to a wall mount sold separately using the mounting holes in the back panel of your HDTV b Read the instructions that came with your specific wall mount to properly hang your HDTV Version
