6. dle 2 We recommend keeping window screen in place 3 Position the Fan in the window with the Switch facing the center of the opening 4 Fan must fit securely against the inside edge of the window opening 5 Slide the sliding window to meet the edge of the Fan The side edge of the window must fit securely behind the lip of the Fan Housing 6 For windows larger than 38 build a plywood panel to fit the open area and secure to Fan and window frame 7 On casement windows wider than 12 it will be necessary to build plywood frame around Fan and then secure frame to Fan and window frame OPERATION Figure 2 1 Carefully remove the Fan from the plastic bag and the carton A WARNING Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet When plugs fit loosely into receptacles they may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire hazard if covered by a curtain or drape the fire hazard is even greater Make sure the Power Switch is in the OFF position Plug into 120V AC outlet 4 Set Reversing Switches to the desired positions INTAKE brings fresh air in EXHAUST takes stale air out To use as an air exchanger set one Reversing Switch on INTAKE and one Reversing Switch on EXHAUST WARNING MAKE CERTAIN FAN IS TURNED OFF BEFORE ADJUSTING THE REVERSING SWITCHES 5 Slide the Power Switch to desired s
