Installing and Removing the Compact FI Using a compact flash card enables you to save customer data and to load it onto your PC i Compact flash cards are not accessory items e Installing a compact flash card Make sure that the power switch is turned off 2 Remove the slot cover It can be removed easily by putting your finger under it and lifting upward Gently insert a compact flash card in the direction indicated in the drawing Push in firmly The eject button will protrude if the compact flash card is fully inserted Slot cover ii If the compact flash card does not easily fit into the slot do not force it in Check the direction of the card and try again 4 Once the compact flash card is correctly inserted fold over the eject button Replace the slot cover e Removing a compact flash card Make sure that the power switch is turned off 2 Remove the slot cover It can be removed easily by putting your finger under it and lifting upward Press the card slot eject button The compact flash card will come out from the connector Grip the edge of the compact flash card and pull it from the slot 4 Replace the slot cover A Precautions Always turn off the power before installing or removing the compact flash card If you remove it incorrectly it is possible that the system will not operate correctly Specifications O e Card Specifications Printing surfaces of cards
