CAUTION ON Your Breeze S Scooter is equipped with a manual freewheel lever SLOPES that when pushed Upward allows the Breeze S scooter to be pushed For more information about how to place your Breeze S m Scooter into and out of freewheel mode see 3 General description of your Breeze S scooter WARNING When your Breeze S scooter is in freewheel mode the 0 braking system is disengaged 34015 Disengage the drive motors only level surface NO NOV v Ensure the key is removed from the key switch Y Stand beside the Breeze S Scooter to engage or disengage freewheel mode Never sit on a Breeze S Scooter to do this Y After you have finished pushing your Breeze S Scooter always return it to the drive mode to lock the brakes Y An added feature built into the Breeze S Scooter is push too fast protection which safeguards the Breeze S scooter against gaining excessive speed while in freewheel mode Push too fast operates differently depending on which of two conditions exists Y If the key is switched off while in freewheel mode the Breeze S scooter s controller activates regenerative braking when the Breeze S scooter is pushed faster than a maximum threshold which has been preprogrammed In this case the controller is acting as a speed governor Y f the key is switched while in freewheel mode you will encounter considerable resistance at any speed This prevents the Breeze S scooter from gaining unwan
