Use only as described in this manual Use only manufacturer s recommended attachments Always unplug power cord from electrical outlet before attempting any adjustments or repairs Test all outlets with an outlet tester before plugging machine into any outlet Use nearest grounded outlets only Do not unplug by pulling on cord To unplug grasp the plug not the cord Do not pull or carry unit by cord Do not close a door on cord or pull cord around sharp edges or corners Do not run appliance over cord Keep cord away from heated surfaces Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces and or standing water Always unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before servicing Unplug or disconnect the machine from power supply when not in use Do not allow to be used as a toy Close attention is necessary when used near children Do not use in areas where flammable or combustible material may be present Do not leave the machine exposed to harsh weather elements Temperatures below freezing may damage components and void warranty Use only the appropriate handles to move and lift unit Do not use any other parts of the machine for this purpose Keep hair loose clothing fingers and all parts of the body away from all openings and moving parts Wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment Use extra care when cleaning on stairs Never move the unit up or down stairs with fluid in the machine To reduce the risk of fire or electric
4. be limited by law then that provision or portion shall be construed to make it effective within the bounds of the law For example if there are legal limitations on the duration of warranties the warranties made herein shall be construed to have minimum duration required by law or if there are legal limitations of exclusions of remedies the exclusions made herein shall be construed to apply to the fullest extent possible without violating the law INTIMIDATOR Set Up amp Operation Electrical Plug cord s into 20 amp grounded wall outlets 20 amp circuits are normally found in kitchens and bathrooms Never remove ground prong from plug If a circuit breaker trips during operation turn machine off reset the breaker and move the electrical cord to a different outlet and resume operation Pump System Most units come with 100 PSI or 150 PSI ShurFlo pumps There is very little maintenance needed Some custom units may come with Pumptec 250 PSI or 500 PSI Please refer to company spec sheet for more information Vacuum System The INTIMIDATOR uses a two vacuum motor system which provides outstanding water lift and air flow The machine can be used with one motor for cleaning delicate fabrics or both motors for carpet cleaning and water extraction Automatic Vacuum Shut Off The float assembly shut off located in the recovery tank on the vacuum standpipe prevents the waste tank from overflowing into the standpipe and damaging t

12. he vacuum motors The float assembly will cut off vacuum to the waste tank When this happens immediately turn off the vacuum motors and empty the waste tank The float assembly will also prevent lint and debris from entering the vacuum motors It is not necessary to clean the screen frequently to maintain maximum vacuum It also is necessary to use low foaming chemicals or defoamer to eliminate foam build up in the recovery tank and damage to the vacuum motors If moisture does enter the vacuum motors it is necessary to WD 40 the motors Remove the float assembly from the standpipe and turn on both vacuum motors Spray a 5 sencond burst of WD 40 into the standpipe and continue to let the vacuum motors run for 3 minutes INTIMIDATOR Maintenance amp Storage Regular maintenance is required to keep the extractor in proper working condition Thoroughly clean all equipment and accessories after each use Rinse the solution and recovery tanks with clean water Flush the pump system with clean water including all hoses and wand s Do not allow water to remain in the tanks after use Lubricate all quick connects with WD 40 or similar lubricant 100 PSI Pump Maintenance e Every week rinse pump out with 1 gallon of water mixed with 4 ounces of vinegar Storage and Freeze Protection You must winterize the INTIMIDATOR to protect the pump system from freezing Damage due to freezing is not covered under the Limited Warranty Store the extr
