Remo Figure 3 30 Both transport locks refitted Figure 3 30 shows both the transport lock of the heating block and the tip comb holder refitted 38 Thermo Scientific KingFisher Flex User Manual Thermo Fisher Scientific Dos and Don ts of the KingFisher Flex Thermo Fisher Scientific Do Dont Chapter 4 Routine Operation This section on Do s and Don ts summarizes all the relevant procedures on what to do and what not to do e Incase of any emergencies occurring during operation switch off and unplug the instrument immediately Carry out corrective measures If the corrective measures taken do not help contact authorized technical service e Carry out the operational check prior to normal use e Only when the instrument is switched off can you push the heads or turn the turntable manually e When placing a microplate onto the tray always make sure that the correct plate type has been selected in BindIt Software Plate Editor gt Plate Configuration before you do anything else e Always use correct volumes on the plates because the movements of the tip comb are conducted according to the volumes e Use for self testing is excluded e Do not touch or loosen any screws or parts other than those specifically designated in the instructions Doing so might cause misalignment and will invalidate the instrument warranty e Never open any other cover of the KingFisher Flex than the see through lid
