6. ery Door Closed Installing the Battery 4b DO NOT Remove the Keypad from the Door LA GARD s TUAANA Step 1 Step 3 Locate the battery Gently insert the battery up inside the keypad and replace the battery cover 1 9V Alkaline Battery x Energizer S eee Step 2 Remove the Phillips head screw from the battery cover located on Step 4 the bottom of the keypad Re install the Phillips head screw in the battery cover DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN Bottom of Keypad Remove screw Installing the Temporary IMPORTANT Spoke The temporary spoke provided is used to assist in opening the safe for the first time ONLY Step 1 Step 2 Locate the temporary Screw in the temporary spoke at the spoke bottom of the handle hub Opening the safe for the first time Step 1 Step 2 CAUTION Enter the factory pre set code of After entering in the factory S eee es E code a double beep will be ts heard Then grasp the 3 1 2 3 4 3 6 handle as shown and q gently rotate clockwise within 4 seconds Note Incorrect A beep will be heard after each number is pressed A double beep will confirm the correct code entry Correct Installing the Handle Spokes Step 1 Remove and discard the temporary spoke Step 2 Remove the box of spokes from the inside of the safe Unpack and screw in each spoke into the handle hub Handle Spokes 3
