5. 9 20 4 14 Abduction wedge The padded abduction wedge is attached to the front edge of the toilet seat Remove it again by pressing the blue lever A and pulling the abduction wedge out to the front The hygiene system should be disinfected af ter each use with wipes or a solution with up to 10 bleach Apply some force to remove the pads see 4 2 and clean with soapy water or a mild disinfectant 4 15 Deflector The standard deflector B is inserted into the seat pad opening with the hollow side facing the user The deflector with splash guard C ensures even better coverage It is kept on the user with the pelvis harness or chest shoulder strap The use of the abduction wedge to gether with the deflector gives the deflector added stability i d f CNN 4 16 Toilet bucket With the toilet bucket Rifton HTS BOB can used as a standalone toilet chair Insert the bucket in the rails under the toilet seat from the back of the seat Push it so far in until it clicks into place Remove it again by pulling it out to the back d bL bo schuchmann 21 5 Repairs and cleaning 5 1 Care The hygiene system should be cleaned after each use with disinfectant wipes or a disinfectant solution with up to 10 bleach The straps with Velcro can be washed at 60 C Seal the Velcro before washing Do not iron The pads made of polyuretha ne are easy to remove so that can be cleaned well and dry on

9. djustment F The back angle can be adjusted 6 to the front A 6 to the back B and 18 to the back C b J To set the back angle pull both sides of the 6 y S back up bring it into the required position and Gl 715 N us leave go of the levers Make sure that the back A C WU audibly clicks into place a B l Assembly disassembly of the back To disassemble the back remove the arm rests E see 3 2 and the thigh guides if available D see 4 8 beforehand Press the lever D and es then tilt the back all the way forwards until the F and G markings are on top of each other Now you can take the entire back out of the E mount To assemble the back simply place it back in the mount so that the F G markings are on v top of each other again Then pull the back to amp wards the rear until it clicks into the first setting N Only assemble disassemble the back when not in use 3 2 Armrest adjustment In order to attach the armrest A insert the lower side of the armrest into the oval opening B in the seat unit and push it down firmly until it clicks into place To remove the armrest press the release but ton C and pull the armrest up 3 3 Seat depth adjustment You can adjust the seat depth on the seat unit To do so pull the blue draw catches D up on both outer sides set the required seat depth and make sure that the seat clicks into place The side parts of the seat unit can be fully t

14. nstructions for use Please store these instructions for use carefully and ensure that these Instructions for use remain with the product in case of re use 2 Product description 2 1 General information All individual steel parts nuts bolts and screws etc are made of stainless steel The padded parts are made of waterproof polyurethane integral foam The frame is made of aluminium and stainless steel and is powder coated The straps are made of polypropylene fibres with quick drying mixed spacer fibres for the padding The plastic parts are injection moulded from various synthetic resins All materials are free of latex lead and phthalates 2 2 Handling transport The hygiene system is not designed to be carried If you have selected a mobile subframe Rifton HTS BOB is equipped with castors Should you have to carry the equipment due to obstacles ensure that all moving parts are tightened Then position yourself next to the hygiene system grip it on both sides under the support head and carry it to the required location To transport the hygiene system reduce all adjustments to their most compact size fold up foot bench set lowest seat height etc N Tighten all moving parts prior to carrying 2 3 Application areas use according to the intended purpose As a toilet chair Rifton HTS BOB can used with the toilet or as a standalone device with a toilet bucket It can also be used as a toilet seat on the toilet as a shower

18. t the foot bench to the required height and allow the buttons to audibly click into the place in the required position 4 9 3 Foot bench angle setting The angle of the foot bench can be adapted by pushing both levers B up and setting the foot bench to one of the four angles The foot bench can be also be folded in when trans porting at ground level 4 10 Calf guide The calf guide C is fixed above the foot bench D It should be removed if the foot bench is set to one of the upper positions The calf guide is attached to the long supports on the foot bench With the strap pointing back wards and the rounded corners downwards wind the strap around the long supports and push it through the metal ring from the front Allow the hook to click into place and fix the strap so that it closes tightly around the long supports i A x m n EL g D N The calf guide option requires the use of a foot bench The load on the foot bench may not exceed 68 kg to avoid falls tip ping over and other injuries 17 18 4 11 Ankle cuffs Slide the loop on the strap through the hori zontal opening on the back of the foot bench to attach the ankle cuffs Turn the strap and push it into the vertical opening Tighten it until it clicks into place The straps with Velcro can be washed at 30 C Seal the Velcro before washing Do not iron This option requires the use of a foot bench 4 12 Table armrest The table has

20. val of the pads 4 5 Pelvic harness Each Rifton HTS BOB is equipped with a pelvic harness In order to use the pelvic har ness insert the fixing clip into the opening on the back of the side piece Make sure that the pelvic harness has clicked in well It is possible for users who slide the seat a litt le to the front to guide the pelvic harness past the inner side of the supports on the backrest In order to ensure that little active users are securely seated there is an additional option for attachment of the pelvic harness on Rifton HTS BOB Size 1 Guide the strap through the hooks on the back of the seat area Always use the pelvic harness to avoid accidents 4 6 Chest strap The chest strap is attached to the thorax pe lotte pads The chest strap goes into the inner side of the thorax pelotte pads Dismantle the thorax pelotte pads see 4 4 first of all then insert the ends through the loop A and reattach the thorax pelotte pads d bL bo schuchmann 14 4 7 Chest shoulder strap The centre section on the pelvic harness A must be removed first to attach the chest shoulder strap For this use the chest shoulder strap B with the integrated pelvic harness Tighten the pel vic harness and insert the shoulder straps into the brackets on the backrest You can also pull the shoulder straps through the upper opening in the backrest for smaller users d V 1 J a Tighten
