Release 2015 06 01 175 Ocean 2014 News in this release This is a new Ocean 2014 for Cobia Black Piranha A Red Piranha that has been upgraded to firmware version 4 0A or higher can also be used with Ocean 2014 Barracuda cannot use Ocean 2014 The most important news in this release is the support for Cobia There are three models in the Cobia family that now are supported in Ocean 2014 e Cobia Flex model 2003 e Cobia Flex with built in mAs model 2004 e Cobia Sense with PC communication model 3002 What are the benefits with Cobia in Ocean 2014 You will no longer have to write the displayed values manually Ocean will take care of that for you In short terms existing Cobia users will now have everything that Ocean 2014 can offer saving data printing reports using analyses etc You can for example now do CTDI measurements with the CT Dose Profiler With Cobia you don t have to worry about sensitivity kV ranges or waveform types It is automatic Ocean 2014 can connect to Cobia through USB or Bluetooth Waveform sampling speed is higher than Piranha it is 3 kHz and it is possible to measure at the highest rate up to 7 5 A Piranha can measure at its highest rate up to 1 s You can of course measure a longer time than 7 s if needed a Cobia can measure up to 180 s but with a decreased sampling rate Ocean templates e All Piranha templates do also work with Cobia Since that Piranha has more possible settings than a C
