RoHS Made in PR C Note Remaining pins on connector are not used DMIX512 Output Thru DMIX512 Input PHILIPS 6 INSTALLATION AND SET UP Strand Lighting DIM1 Portable Dimmer Installation amp User s Manual OPERATION 1 PHILIPS Overview The DIMI Portable Dimmer offers simple dimming and switch control to luminaires color changers or other loads that do not have the on board capability to be controlled by DMX512 The DIMI Portable Dimmer can be setup to operate in either dimmer or non dim switching mode Control Functions The DIMI Portable Dimmer is controlled via DM X512 or its on board or external remote simple to use fader The on board or external fader adjusts channel light intensity 32 HTP o o o A O N i ae DIM1 On Board Fader e The fader can be used to control the connected load for dimming or switching operation It also can set the HTP Highest Takes Precedence operation of the unit e For DMX512 operation the unit must have its DMX512 set through its on board menu system For details see Setting DMX Address Menu System Setting DMX Address To set the DMX address on the DIM1 Portable Dimmer Step 1 Connect dimmer to a suitable AC A 1 2 3 source Step 2 Theunit will display the current DMX address If the display does not show an A press Menu MENU T dns N button until an A appears Th
