Installation instructions ENERGY usin For set 2 6109 97 06 Jeep TJ 1 3 4 Lift Spring Isolator Kit 1131 VIACALLEJON SAN CLEMENTE CA 92673 G08 Er Suspension At fatte reserved It is recommended that if you are unfamiliar with this type of work that you refer to a qualified service center specializing in this type of work Itis also recommended that if you choose to do this work yourself that a factory service manual be obtained for the proper procedures pertaining to removal replacement and proper torque Specifications for your vehicle This instruction set is intended as a guideline for the safe installation of Energy Suspension s polyurethane bushings once you have removed the factory components from your vehicle USE CAUTION WITH BRAKE LINES DURING DISASSEMBLY DO NOT ALLOW WEIGHT OF AXLE TO BE SUPPORTED BY BRAKE LINES Front 1 Raise vehicle and support using jack stands at the frame remove front wheels 2 Remove the lower bolts securing shocks to axle housing Disconnect the sway bar end links and allow the axle housing to come full droop 3 Remove the spring original rubber isolator bump stop and bump stop cup 4 Install new polyurethane isolator bump stop cup and bump stop 5 Re install springs sway bar end links and shocks Torque all Hardware to factory spec Rear 1 Raise vehicle and support using jack stands at the frame remove rear wheels 2 Remove the lower bolts securing shocks t2. o axle housing Disconnect the sway bar end links and allow the axle housing to come full droop 3 Remove the spring and original rubber isolator bump stop and bump stop cup 4 Install the metal sleeve into the base of the polyurethane lift isolator Using supplied hex head bolt install in original bump stop cup location and torque to factory specs 5 Re install springs sway bar end links and shacks Torque all hardware to factory spec 6279 1 314 it isolator 16114 Extended bump stop 6277 Ona plece lit isolator with bump stop 716 08 83 38 10mm x 1 5mm x 80mm bot 7 18 40 606 39 1 000 x 428 1 804 sleeve This product was designed to use 0 E M shocks Do not use shocks that allow the springs to become loose in full droop
