Group Class of Service A Group Class of Service GCOS determines which other users a user can make messages for or respond to There are two kinds of GCOSs affinity and bit mapped Each mailbox is assigned a specific GCOS For more information about GCOSs see the Reference and Configuration Manual Network Class of Service A Network Class of Service NCOS controls users network access and is part of the NP Net Digital Network optional feature For more information about NCOSs see the WP Net Administration Manual Restriction Class of Service A Restriction Class of Service RCOS is an element of NPA NXX call screening that restricts mailbox outdials to certain area codes or to certain prefixes within an area code Each mailbox is assigned a specific RCOS For more information about RCOSs see the Reference and Configuration Manual Tenant Class of Service A Tenant Class of Service TCOS is used with the ESMDI Multi Tenant application to govern mailbox interaction between communities For more information about TCOSs see the Enhanced SMDI Integration Manual Overview of NP View Tasks The server technician and network administrator share the process to install and configure NP View Typically the server technician performs the tasks associated with the server and the network administrator performs the tasks that involve the PCs on the network However some tasks require a cooperative effort For example the technician co
10. add or delete mailboxes or make any modifications to the mailboxes Note NP View creates the system address book from the NuPoint Voice Dial by Name database so be sure to keep the names of all mailbox owners in this database accurate and up to date For information about the Dial by Name database see the Reference and Configuration Manual Generating NP View Reports You can produce reports about NP View usage Two reports the Active Sessions Report and the NP View License Report are available directly from the NP View Administration menu see chapter 3 for a discussion of this menu Use the Active Sessions Report to see which users are currently connected to the NP View server The report shows the user s mailbox number how long the user has been connected to the server the user s NP View license number and the IP address of the user s computer You can display the report on your NuPoint Voice console save the report in a file or print it This example shows ane Active Sessions Report Current Active Sessions Wed Sept 7 1 12 30 1994 Mailbox Duration License IP Address Call Me Line 00000000100 00 05 23 23 192 002 200 001 None Total connected users 1 The NP View License Report provides information about the network session licenses and client licenses that are installed on the NP View server A session license sets how many users can log into the NP View server at the same time A client license sets how many users
