65. turnings CAUTION e The warewasher is equipped with a built in reverse osmosis unit GiO module In this reverse osmosis unit the fresh water supply is compressed onto membranes under high pressure Pure water is pressed through this membrane and is di rected toward the boiler This water is used to fill up the warewasher and is used for rinsing ensuring that the items being washed are free of water spots A portion of the fresh water is drained along with the rest of the substances in the water e g salts minerals particulate matter as so called concentrate Observe the specifications in the technical data sheets in order to ensure the maximum possi ble service life of the membranes A fine filter is included in the connection set The filter is filled with a activated car bon in order to protect the osmosis unit The filter cartridge containing the activated carbon must be renewed every six months CAUTION 6 6 Requirements for the waste water connection e Build an odour trap into the waste water connection if this is not already built in further information about this is in the Installation drawing Technical Sheet The drain hose must be connected to the waste water pipe in the building e Agrease trap may be needed depending on the machine application e The requirements of the waste water supply in the accompanying GiO module operating and service manual are to be observed for machines equipped with the GiO module 6
