3. on the lock nut Remove a lifter bearing Unfasten four screws and detach a clutch outer cover Screw Clutch outer cover i Lifter bearing Turn up hooks on the 14mm lock washer Holding the clutch outer detach a lock nut with a lock nut wrench Clutch wheel holder g M ee Y E Lock nut wre J l please fix onto the clutch outer with four screws Specified torque 4 4 NE m 0 45 kgf m Installation Install the following parts Lifter cam plate oil through spring oil through ball retainer lifter spring and clutch lifter lever Install dowel pins and the supplied gaskets onto the crankcase Install a right side crankcase cover and tighten every bolt Extension bar Detach a lock washer B and 14mm lock washer and a clutch assembly from the crank shaft nch Fix a lifter bearing and gaskets to the supplied clutch outer cover which From the crank shaft remove a primary drive gear clutch center guide and collar to check if nothing is wrong with them Specified torque 8 8 N m 0 9 kgf m Remove the external circlip from the mainshaft then remove the primary Install a kick starter and tighten the bolt driven gear Referring to a Honda s genuine service manual inject the engine oil in the Primary drive gear specified amount Adjustment Loosen the lock nut and give an adjust bol
4. 7mm a oo x Please order repair parts with the Repair Part Item No Without the repair part item No we may not be able to provide the correct parts Some parts are only available as a set Please order them with the set number Installation Procedures Please check the contents of the kit X Support the body firmly with a maintenance stand or the like for your safe installation work x Work only when the engine and the exhaust system are cool x The following show only the basic installation work Please do work referring to Honda s genuine parts service manual as the work may differ depending on the types of motorcycles Removal Drain the engine oil to detach the following parts a kick starter and a rear crankcase cover Dowel pins and bolts will be reused as long as there is no problem with them Clear them of dirt and dust and keep them for reuse lt Remove the following parts a clutch lifter lever ball retainer lifter spring lifter cam plate oil through and oil through spring Xx Reuse these parts if nothing is wrong with them Lifter cam plate Oe Cet 25 10 e Removal of a clutch assembly Attach a lock nut N Specified torque 42 NJ m 4 3 kgf m In case a notch on the lock nut is not fit into a hook on the lock washer press down the lock washer to fit it into the notch Bend the hook on the lock washer and fit the hook correctly into the notch
