QUARTZ WESTMINSTER CHIME MOVEMENT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS STARTING 1 Release the pendulum guide A from the transport locking pin B 2 Install four 4 fresh AA size alkaline batteries in the battery holders on the back of the clock according to the and symbols in the holders Note One battery is required for the time keeping C one for the pendulum D and two for the chime E These features work independently from each TIME SETTING Turn the TIME SET button F to set the clock hands to the correcttime HOURLY STRIKE SETTING 1 Slide the CHIME ON OFF switch G to the ON position 2 Press the CHIME SET button H and count the number of times that the clock strikes after playing the Westminster melody NOTE The clock has an automatic nighttime silencing feature which silences the chime and strike between 10 01 p m and 5 59 a m If the clock does not chime when you press the CHIME SET button it could be because the chime is set between those hours Continue pressing the CHIME SET button until the chime plays 3 Each time the CHIME SET button is pressed the number of strikes increases by one Continue pressing the CHIME SET button until the number of strikes matches the current hour For example if the current time is 8 22 press the CHIME SET button until the clock strikes 8 times 4 After setting the chime ifyou find thatthe clock does not chime during the day but does chime at night press2. n CHIME SET hasta que el n mero de repiques corresponda con la hora Por ejemplo si la hora actual es 8 22 pulse el bot n PROGRAMACI N DE LA CAMPANA hasta que el reloj repique 8 veces 4 Sidespu s de programar la campana nota que sta no se escucha durante el d a pero s durante la noche pulse el bot n PROGRAMACI N DE LA CAMPANA 12 veces para cambiar la programaci n de la campana dea m ap m OPERACI N DEL P NDULO 1 Cuelgue el p ndulo en la gu a del p ndulo A 2 Suspendre l horloge au mur et donner un petit coup de pousse au pendule pour qu il commence osciller S assurer que l horloge est bien verticale de fa on ce que le balancier du pendule ne frotte pas contre l arri re du mouvement AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN Gire la perilla de CONTROL DEL VOLUMEN I para ajustar el volumen de la campana SILENCIAMIENTO DE LA CAMPANA Mueva el interruptor de ENCENDIDO APAGADO DE LA CAMPANA G a la posici n OFF para apagar la campana y los repiques horarios C MO CAMBIAR LAS PILAS Si el reloj se detiene se retrasa o la campana se debilita o se vuelve err tica indica generalmente que las pilas est n d biles o agotadas Reemplace las pilas seg n las instrucciones indicadas arriba en COMIENZO Jam s deje pilas agotadas dentro del reloj ya que podr an da ar el reloj NOTA Cada vez que retire las pilas del reloj deber restaurar la campana seg n las instrucciones de la secci n de PROGRAMACION DEL REPIQUE HORARIO
