Fig 2 2 Make sure the air rifle is UNLOADED and POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION 3 Remove the grip cover s from the left side of the air rifle by lifting it at the Finger Notch indentation on the bottom of the grip Fig 3A 4 Tur the piercing wing Fig 3B counter clockwise to allow for clearance of the CO cartridge The right hand grip cover can also be removed if more room is needed to turn the piercing wing 5 Put 1 drop of Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil on the tip of every CO cylinder in order to properly maintain your air rifle See Section 7 Maintenance 6 Insert anew CO cartridge into the air rifle small neck first pointing toward the piercing assembly Fig 4 7 With your thumb and forefinger turn the piercing wing clockwise until it pierces the CO cartridge If you hear a hissing sound when piercing the cartridge try tightening the screw slightly more Be careful not to over tighten when piercing CAUTION Over tightening the CO cartridge can damage the cartridge housing and cause injury to you or damage to your air rifle 8 To make sure the cartridge has been pierced point the gun in a SAFE DIRECTION take OFF SAFE and pull the trigger If the air rifle does not make a popping noise after pulling the trigger the CO is not being discharged In that event tighten the piercing wing or lever a little more point the air rifle in a SAFE DIRECTION and pull the trigger until there is a popping noise which means the a2. 3. the BB Fill Port and you no longer hear them in the air rifle 6 AIMING AND FIRING SAFELY CAUTION REMEMBER choose your targets carefully and be sure that the area around the target is clear THINK what you will hit if you miss the target e Do not store your gun cocked or loaded e You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes A Aiming the Air rifle 1 Your air rifle is designed for target shooting and is suited for both indoor and outdoor use 2 Follow the instructions for loading CO Section 4 and loading ammo Section 5 3 The air rifle is correctly aimed when the front sight post is positioned exactly in the center of the notch of the rear sight The bulls eye should appear to rest on the top of the front sight Fig 6 B Firing the Air Rifle 1 When you are sure of your target and backstop and the area around the target is clear take the air rifle OFF SAFE Fig 2 and pull the trigger to fire 2 Do not re use ammo because it could cause damage to your air rifle C Sight Adjustment 1 The rear notch sight may be adjusted to shoot higher or lower elevation Loosen the elevation adjustment screw by turning it counterclockwise Move the sight up to make BB hit higher on the target Move the sight down to make the BB hit lower on the target Then tighten the elevation adjustment screw by turning it clockwise Fig 6 2 The rear sight may be adjusted to shoot right or left windage Turn the w

O REMOVE IT FROMTHE AIR RIFLE BY SLOWLY TURNING THE WING COUNTER CLOCKWISE ALL THE WAY UNTIL YOU NO LONGER HEAR THE ESCAPE OF CO GAS KEEP HANDS AND FACE AWAY FROM ESCAPING CO GAS IT CAN CAUSE FROSTBITE IF ALLOWED TO COME IN CONTACT WITH SKIN PAVAN AN TINKER Even THOUGH YOU GO THROUGH THE UNLOADING PROCEDURE CONTINUE TO TREAT THE AIR RIFLE AS THOUGH IT WERE LOADED DO NOT POINT AT ANYTHING YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SHOOT IMPORTANT To completely unload BBs they must be removed from two areas of the air rifle the internal magazine and the reservoir 1 Internal Magazine a Puttheairrifle ON SAFE Fig 3 1 b Point the air rifle in a SAFE DIRECTION c Slide the Feed Bar forward and down into the locked position Fig 5C d Flip the air rifle upside down so the BB Fill Port is pointing down e Using a back and forth motion rock the air rifle to move the BBs from the internal BB magazine to the Reservoir Fig 5D IMPORTANT If you still see BBs in the internal BB magazine continue gently rocking the air rifle until they transfer into the BB reservoir DO NOT ASSUME ALL BBs ARE REMOVED FROM THE MAGAZINE WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER VISIBLE ALWAYS TREAT YOUR AIR RIFLE AS IF IT IS LOADED 2 Reservoir a Ensure the Feed Bar is in the CLOSED position Fig 5C to block the BBs from re entering the internal magazine b Turn the gun so the BB Fill Port is facing down c Gently rock the gun until all the BBs fall out of
