3. 2 Place the side handle clamp I and screw on the clamp wheel H Do not tighten AWARNING Once assembled the side handle clamp should never be removed 3 Screw the side handle C into the bush K and then into the clamp wheel Tighten securely 4 Rotate the side handle mounting assembly to the desired position For drilling horizontally with a heavy drill bit we recommend to place the side handle at an angle of approx 20 for optimum control 5 Lock the side handle mounting assembly in place by tightening the clamp wheel H Selecting the Operating Mode Fig 1 ave T Hammerdrilling for concrete brick stone and masonry drilling operations Hammering only for chiselling and demolition applications In this mode the tool can also be used as a lever to free a jammed drill bit 1 To select the operating mode rotate the mode selector switch F until it points to the symbol of the required mode It may be neccessary to twist the tool holder L slightly to allow the mode selector switch F to pass the O position 2 Check that the mode selector switch F is locked in place Inserting and Removing SDS Max Accessories Fig 1 3A 3B This machine uses SDS Max bits and chisels refer to the inset in figure 3B for a cross section of an SDS Max bit shank 1 Clean the bit shank 2 Pull back the locking sleeve O and insert the bit shank 3 Turn the bit slightly until the sleeve snaps into position 4 Pu

7. de modo F a la posici n perforaci n de percusi n 4 Coloque el control electr nico de velocidad e impacto G en posici n de velocidad mediana o alta 5 Fije y ajuste la empu adura lateral C 6 Coloque la broca de centrar en en el punto y active la herramienta Perfore hasta que la barrena haya penetrado en el hormig n hasta aprox 1 cm 7 Detenga la herramienta y saque la broca de centrar Vuelva a colocar la barrena cil ndrica hueca en el orificio y siga perforando NO O1 B WO N 8 Cuando taladre en una estructura que sea m s gruesa que la profundidad de la barrena hueca deber sacar con frecuencia el cilindro de hormig n que se acumular en la barrena hueca Para evitar que el hormig n se rompa alrededor del orificio realice primeramente un orificio con el di metro de la broca de centrar que atraviese completamente la estructura A continuaci n podr perforar a ambos lados del orificio creado 9 Apague siempre la herramienta cuando termine su trabajo y antes de desconectarla Escodar y cincelar Fig 1 1 Introduzca el cincel adecuado y g relo manualmente hasta bloquearlo en una de las 24 posiciones Ajuste el interruptor selector de modo F a la posici n s lo percusi n Fije el control electr nico de velocidad e impacto G Fije y ajuste la empu adura lateral C Encienda la herramienta y empiece a trabajar Apague siempre la herramienta cuando termine su trabajo
