9. hat the water level does not fall below the lower embossed line Should it do so top up with fresh cold water We recommend cleaning the tank and filling with clean cold water to the embossed line after a low water condition IMPORTANT After a low water condition fill with cold water Only cold water will reset the flashing lamp Adding hot water will not reset the low water condition immediately The lamp will continue to flash if the water temperature does not drop below 100 F 38 C Part 4521055 12 07 ABOUT FONDANT HEATING When starting a fresh batch of fondant disconnect the power drain and clean the tank Add fresh cool water to the top level mark embossed on the tank the water should be below a 4 102mm deep pan Connect the power Place the fresh pans of fondant in the tank Switch on the power MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Daily Maintenance Water should be drained from the tank and cleaned daily Empty the water from the tank and clean any lime deposit with a non metallic scouring pad Clean with a cloth soaked in a mild detergent and hot water Rinse with a sponge dipped in clean hot water dry with a clean cloth Cleaning Stainless steel should be cleaned using a mild detergent a soft cloth and hot water If it is necessary use a non metallic scouring pad to remove stubborn grime Always rub in the direction of the grain in the metal to prevent scratching Wash a small area at a time and rinse the washed

14. ure at 115 F 46 C To achieve this the appliance heats a water bath slightly higher than the reguired fondant temperature READY w ARNI PRET ATTENTION Indicators 1 The power switch is illuminated when the switch is in the ON position and power is applied to the appliance 2 The green READY lamp indicates the water bath has reached its normal operating temperature Fresh cold fondant may take longer to heat See the section Fondant Heating Hints for more details 3 The amber WARNING lamp has multiple functions A flashing WARNING lamp indicates a low water condition If the amber lamp is illuminated continuously it indicates a temperature sensor failure and service personnel should be contacted Page 4 Operating Procedure 1 Fill the tank with water so that the level is between the minimum and maximum embossed lines on the inside wall of the tank 2 Insert pans with a maximum depth not exceeding 4 102mm 3 Plug appliance into electrical outlet 4 Turnon the appliance by pressing the switch marked ON OFF in the ON position 5 Lamp Test After the control has initialized the amber WARNING indicator will illuminate for 10 seconds This lets the operator know the lamp is functioning 6 The appliance will initially heat the bath of water to a temperature of 145 F 63 C then maintain it at 122 F 3 F 50 C 2 C NOTE Periodic checks should be made during operation to ensure t
