3. the product serial number CARRY IN MAIL IN SERVICE CARRY IN MAIL IN SERVICE is a program under which your product is repaired by an ASF If the CARRY IN MAIL IN SERVICE is offered by CCI and you elect this service the Canon Customer Information Centre representative will provide you with the name and phone number of the nearest ASF s to your location You must contact an ASF to schedule the repair If shipping is involved it is your responsibility to properly package and send the product together with your dated proof of purchase and a complete explanation of the problem to the ASF at your cost Products covered by this limited warranty will be repaired and returned to you by the ASF Repairs not covered under this limited warranty will be charged to you at such cost as each ASF may generally establish from time to time ADVANCED WARRANTY EXCHANGE Advanced Warranty Exchange is a warranty program that expedites usually within three 3 business days the exchange of a defective product with a refurbished product The refurbished product you receive will be covered by the balance of the period remaining on your original limited warranty Note that by using this service you will keep the replacement product that is sent to you and your originally purchased product shall become the property of CCI The Advanced Warranty Exchange program service is available only during the express limited warranty period for your product and only in Canada
