1. e Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Grip the muzzle of the gun with one hand while making sure the airgun is pointed in a safe direction eWith your other hand slowly untighten counter clock wise the piercing handle and then move your hand away until you no longer hear the sound of CO gas escaping e Slowly turn the piercing handle all the way counter clock wise while being careful not to come in contact with any remaining CO until completely unscrewed e Remove the left grip by prying it open from the bottom e Point the muzzle of the airgun down in a SAFE DIRECTION and tip the gun so the CO cartridge will fall out NOTE We recommend the use of Crosman Powerlet CO cartridges They are made to your airgun Other brands of CO cartridges may not fit properly and if you force them into place it may result in injury to you or damage to your airgun Never try to force any CO cartridge into or out of place Do not store your airgun with a CO cartridge in it If you Know you will not be using your airgun for an extended period of time empty the CO cartridge and remove it from the airgun See Section 3A This is very important to remember as it will prolong the longevity of your airgun seals 4 Loading and Unloading BBs CAUTION USE ONLY 177 caliber BBs NEVER REUSE AMMUNITION FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN DAMAGE TO YOUR AIRGUN A Loading BBs e Make sure the airgun is ON SAFE See Section 2A2. e Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Place your hand under the magazine and press the magazine release button e Put the gun down pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION e Take the magazine and pull down the BB follower tab and lock it in place Fig 5 Insert up to 18 BBs into the BB loading hole on the top of the magazine e Place a finger over the end of the magazine where the BBs will exit eWith the magazine pointed in a safe direction release the BB follower tab e The follower springs back automatically when inserted into the gun NOTE Releasing the BB follower tab too quickly or without the end covered may allow BBs to exit the magazine B Unloading Firing the BBs The most common way to unload a BB is to fire your airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION after fully reading the owner s manual and following the safety precautions outlined in Section 5 on how to aim and fire your airgun safely C Unloading Without Firing the BBs e Put your airgun ON SAFE see Section 2A e Remove the CO cartridge see Section 3B e Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Place your hand under the magazine and press the magazine release button e Put the gun down pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION ePush all the BBs out of the magazine one by one using a ramrod not included e Do not reuse the BBs 5 Aiming and Firing Safely A Aiming the Airgun e Always point your airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Follow the instructions for installing a CO

CO Cartridge WARNING Explosion Danger CO cylinders under pressure Do not mutilate or incinerate them Do not expose CO cylinders to heat sources or store them at temperatures above 120 F 48 9 C Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death MUNIE Frostbite danger Keep hands and face away from escaping CO gas Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury A Installing a CO Cartridge e Put the airgun ON SAFE See Section 2A e Make sure the airgun is unloaded See Section 4B e Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Remove the left grip cover by prying it open from the bottom Fig e Insert the new CO cartridge into the airgun with the small neck of the CO cartridge into the grip first Fig 4 e Replace the grip and turn the piercing handle until finger tight only e Point the airgun in a SAFE DIRECTION take OFF SAFE See Section 2B and pull the trigger If the airgun does not make a pop ping noise after pulling the trigger the CO is not being discharged In that event slightly tighten the piercing handle clock wise and repeat firing the airgun until your hear a popping noise which means the airgun is now releasing CO with each pull of the trigger e Return safety to the ON SAFE position See Section 2A B Removing the CO Cartridge e Put the airgun ON SAFE See Section 2A e Make sure the airgun is unloaded See Section 4B

8. billes e Assurez vous que le pistolet air est en position ENGAGEE Voir section 2A e Pointez le pistolet air dans une DIRECTION SURE e Placez votre main sous le magasin puis appuyez sur le bouton de lib ration du magasin e Placez le pistolet sur une surface stable et dans une DIRECTION SURE e Prenez le magasin et tirez vers le bas la tigette billes puis verrouillez le sa place sch ma 5 Ins rez jusqu 18 billes dans l orifice de chargement des billes situ l avant du magasin e Placez un doigt sur l extr mit du magasin l emplacement de sortie des billes e Pointez le magasin dans une direction s re puis rel chez la tigette billes e La tigette revient en place automatiquement lorsqu elle est ins r e dans le pistolet REMARQUE un rel chement trop rapide de la tigette ou un rel chement lorsque l extr mit n est pas couverte peut permettre aux billes de s chapper du magasin B D chargement Tir les billes e La fa on la plus simple de d charger les billes est de tirer avec votre pistolet a air dans une DIRECTION SURE apr s avoir lu enti rement ce manuel d utilisation et en respectant les consignes de s curit d crites dans la sec tion 5 expliquant comment viser et tirer avec votre pistolet air sans danger
9. cartridge Section 3A and loading BBs Section 4A e You and others with you should always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes e Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water The BB may bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit e Always choose your target carefully For example you may wish to shoot at paper bulls eye targets that are attached to a safe backstop such as the Crosman 0852 Target Trap A heavy blanket should be hung behind the target trap to prevent ricochet should you miss the backstop e Your airgun is designed for target shooting and is suited for both indoor and outdoor use Always remember to place your target carefully THINK about what you will hit if you miss the target e When using the notched rear sight the airgun is correctly aimed when the front sight blade is positioned exactly in the center of the notch of the rear sight The top of the front sight blade should be even with the top of the notch in the rear sight The bull s eye should appear to rest on the top of the front sight e When you are sure of your target and backstop and the area around the target is clear take the airgun OFF SAFE See section 2B and pull the trigger to fire 6 Removing a Jammed BB e Put the airgun ON SAFE See Section 2A e Empty and remove the CO cartridge See Section 3A e Remove the magazine see Section 40 e Insert a ramrod not included in to the
