17. 4 4 3 JIPP T IIU HH 3 9 RR 1996 11 5 Examples of Data Processing Systems Data Processing System for JIPP T IIU KOJIMA Mamoru HIDEKUMA Shigeru TDA Katsumi and SATO Kohnosuke National Institute for Fusion Science Nagoya 464 01 Japan Received 5 November 1996 Abstract JIPP T IIU had been running for about 20 years when it was shutdown in September of 1995 The latest JIPP T IIU data processing system is based on the VAX cluster and the CAMAC serial highway of optical fibers The experimental data acquired and analyzed are stored in sharing disks of the VAX cluster With regard to data processing software all parameters and data required for data acquisition were written in the shared memory The systems wide flexibility is made possible by using the lst Structure in the data processing By introducing the object oriented method in the shot synchronous analysis the sequence of the data analysis can be controlled regardless of the physics contents Advan tages and disadvantages of data acquisithon using VAX cluster are also discussed KeyWOrdS JIPP T IIU data processing VAX VMS CAMAC VAX cluster object oriented data analysis 4 3 1
