Ger ten zu betreiben vor allem bei solchen die niederpe gelige Audiosignale f hren um Brummeinstreuungen zu vermeiden Das EPS1200 wird mit einem 5 m langen Verbindungskabel geliefert und kann dadurch auch problemlos in Seiten Racks verbaut werden Trotz Zwangsbel ftung des Ger tes ist immer eine au reichende Luftzu und abfuhr zu gew hrleisten Die front und r ckseitigen L ftungsschlitze d rfen nicht abge deckt sein Der Erdung des Gesamtsystems sollte besondere Beachtung geschenkt werden Das Mischpult wird ber die Massef hrung des Netzteils mit Schutzerde verbunden Bei der Rack Montage sollte auf die m gliche Entstehung von Masse Brummschleifen im Gesamtsystem geachtet werden Dadurch wird h rbarer Brumm in ansonsten saubere Audio signale induziert Erdschleifen treten auf wenn signalverarbeitende Ger te an das Mischpult angeschlossen werden und diese ebenfalls netzseitig ber das Chassis geerdet sind Eine Brumm schleife bildet sich wenn dieses Chassis und das Chassis des EPS 1200 in elektrischem Kontakt sind z B ber gemeinsame Metall Befestigungsschienen im Rack Diese Situation l sst sich durch den auf der Frontseite des EPS 1200 vorgesehenen Schalter Ground Lift vermeiden Achtung Im Ground Lift Fall ist wohl das EPS1200 aber nicht mehr das Chassis der Konsole direkt mit der Netz Schutzerde verbunden Eine direkte Verbindung kann ber das Netzkabel der Konsole hergestellt werden Allgemeines
