1. To protect the unit during bad weather or when left unattended for prolonged periods the mains plug should be disconnected This prevents the unit being damaged by lightning and power surges in the AC mains supply Diagram 1 Ww DEUTSCH Diagram 2 WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHIN WEISE BITTE VOR GEBRAUCH LESEN UND F R SP TEREN GEBRAUCH AUFBEWAHREN Das Ger t wurde von Hughes amp Kettner gem ss IEC 60065 gebaut und hat das Werk in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand verlassen Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb sicherzustellen muss der Anwender die Hinweise und die Warnvermerke beachten die in der Bedienungsanleitung enthalten sind Das Ger t entspricht der Schutzklasse I schutzgeerdet DIE SICHERHEIT ZUVERLASSIGKEIT UND LEISTUNG DES GER TES WIRD VON HUGHES amp KETTNER NUR DANN GEWAHRLEISTET WENN Montage Erweiterung Neueinstellung nderungen oder Reparaturen von Hughes amp Kettner oder von dazu erm chtigten Personen ausgef hrt werden die elektrische Installation des betreffenden Raumes den Anforderungen von IEC ANSI Festlegungen entspricht das Ger t in bereinstimmung mit der Gebrauchsanweisung verwendet wird WARNUNG e Wenn Abdeckungen ge ffnet oder Geh useteile entfernt werden ausser wenn dies von Hand m glich ist k nnen Teile freigelegt werden die Spannung f hren Wenn ein ffnen des Ger tes erforderlich ist muss das Ger t von allen Sp2. ROTOSPHERE und den rechten und linken Ausgang des ROTOSPHERE mit den entsprechenden Eing ngen Ihrer Verst rker oder Ihres Mischpultes Als optimale Anpassung f r klare unverzerrte Rotor Sounds stellen Sie den Drive Regler so ein dass bei autester Spielst rke das Tube Sat LED gerade anf ngt zu leuchten Durch weiteres Aufdrehen des Drive Reglers bestimmen Sie den Grad der R hren bersteuerung Stellen Sie den Output Regler des ROTOSPHERE und den die Gain Regler des ischpultes so ein dass im Mischpult Eingang keine bersteuerungen entstehen diese unsch nen Verzerrungen w rden den R hrenoverdrive berdek en und den Sound hart und undifferenziert erschei nen lassen 4 Gitarre mono vor dem Verst rkereingang Diese Option sollte nur bei fehlendem Einschleifweg genutzt werden Verbinden Sie mit Hilfe eines Klinkenkabels den Ausgang Ihrer Gitarre mit dem Monoeingang Ihres ROTOSPHERE Verbinden Sie ebenso den Monoausgang mit dem Eingang Ihres Verst rkers Achten Sie bitte in diesem Fall besonders auf eine korrekte Pegelanpassung Driveregler da Gitarren weniger Ausgangspegel haben als Keyboards Der Mode Schalter gibt Ihnen die M glichkeit eine Frequenzanpassung f r Gitarren vorzunehmen hnlich wie bei einer RED BOX Diese Moglichkeit sollten Sie nach Ihrem Geschmack w hlen Sie ist nicht unbedingt zum Betrieb mit Gitarren notwendig 5 Gitarre mono im Einschleifweg eines Verstarkers Verbinden Sie mit eine

Geschwindigkeit des Bassrotors Tube Sat Beim Aufleuchten beginnt die R hre zu verzerren Effect on Leuchtet diese LED gr n ist der Effekt angeschaltet Slow Leuchtet diese LED ist das Ger t auf die lang same Geschwindigkeit Slow eingestellt Schalter Slow Fast Schaltet zwischen den zwei m glichen Geschwindigkeiten Slow und Fast hin und her Die FAST Geschwindigkeit ist per Trimmpoti f r Trommel und Horn getrennt einstellbar Sie finden die beiden Trimmer links und rechts des BALANCE Reglers Die Einstellung k nnen Sie mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher vornehmen So k nnen Sie das Geschwindigkeitsverh ltnis der beiden Rotoren gem Ihren pers nlichen W nschen anpassen Breaker Breaker Der Taster f r die BREAKER Funktion wurde durch einen On Off Schalter ersetzt W hrend Sie beim alten Modell den Taster mit dem Fu gedr ckt halten mussten um die Rotor Simulation zu unterbrechen k nnen Sie den BREAKER nun einfach per Knopfdruck aktivieren bzw deaktivieren Damit haben Sie den Fu zur Bedienung anderer Effektger te bzw bei Orgeln von Basspedalen frei Beim Unterbrechen der Rotor Simulation drehen Trommel und Horn immer in die gleiche Ausgangs position Dadurch wird gew hrleistet dass der Klang des ROTOSPHERE in der Anwendung als reiner 10 Hoglas Mahon nt Ath R hrenpreamp immer gleich ist und nicht den klang lichen F rbungen unterschiedlicher Rotor Stellungen unterliegt Bypass Sc

21. ive control up to a suitable level We highly recommend that you patch the ROTOSPHERE into a loop as these TubeTools feed a substantially higher signal level to the effect Noise The TUBE ROTOSPHERE is an analog Leslie emulator We designed it to deliver a sound as true as possible to the original Leslie sound The inte grated tube is primarily responsible for the highly desi rable tube tone But we aware that the way these components are configured and the nature of the rotary effect add an audible noise level to the signal If you set the Drive control in other words they input sensitivity to a suitable level for the input signal you will find that peripheral noise remains at a minimum level Tube When you switch the ROTOSPHERE on when you plug in the power pack the Tube Sat LED will illuminate until the tube has heated up to operating temperature If the tube is already warm this delay will naturally be shorter If the LED does not illuminate double check the power pack to make sure it is plugged in all the way If the LED continues to illuminate for longer than the standard warm up period then the tube is defective and needs to be replaced If you find that the effect generates dis harmonic distortion or sounds muddy in all likelinood the tube is worn out and needs to be replaced The tube should be replaced by qualified service technicians only Tip In mono mode the left channel will deliver a more intens
