5. element e g trussing and secure the MaxMover adequately and in accordance to relevant regulations Disconnect the lamphead s manual stirrup see operating instructions of the lamphead in order to mount the universal adapter plates to the stirrup brackets Please use the 4 enclosed 8mm Allen key screws to mount the two universal adapter plates The drillings of the adapter plates fit on all ARRI lampheads from 6 to 24kW Only the ARRISUN 60 must be equipped with an additional adapter L2 37983 0 to install the universal adapter plates Please make sure that the center of gravity adjustment of the lamphead is in balance Bring the M10 safety screws of the universal adapter plates to the engaging position and adjust the locking lever of the spring bolt in such a way that the pin catches automatically when bringing in the lamphead Adjust the appropriated width on the MaxMover for your lamphead by using the laser engraved markings see detail 8 picture 6 on page 5 Now you can put in the lamphead with the mounted universal adapter plates into the interlock system Secure the connection between lamphead and MaxMover with the M10 safety nuts If available install the focus drive L2 37981 0 now In order to do this please first bring the lamphead focus to a middle position Then open all clamping devices Please start by attaching the focus drive to the lamphead s skid before adjusting the right height in order to match the positi

T fine Channel 6 TILT speed Channel 7 Focus Channel 8 Release 50 10 home position 90 100 Releasing the MaxMover For safety reasons the speed channels must first be set to 0 or to very low values This is necessary because the MaxMover after the release instantly starts to move to the position of the sent DMX values unless the actual position of the MaxMover happens to be equal to the DMX values sent by the DMX controller In order to release the MaxMover please slowly bring channel 8 to 50 The MaxMover is now released In the event that channel 8 is brought to the 90 100 position the MaxMover will go to its home position The home position overwrites the PAN and TILT positions but not the focus position The release procedure must be performed under the following three circumstances 1 The MaxMover is switched on 2 The DMX signal is missing for longer than 60 seconds 3 The Emergency Stop is active for longer than 60 seconds Anhang 2 FP DMX Bedienungsanleitung Blackout und Flash Button Wenn Uber den Master Flash Button am DMX Pult alle Regler gleichzeitig auf 100 gefahren werden bleibt der B gel stehen gt keine Bewegung Das Gleiche gilt bei der Bet tigung der Blackout Taste am Mischpult alle Regler auf 0 Dieser Zustand funktioniert nicht bei Bet tigung der Flash Tasten am einzelnen Regler Eine evtl vorhandene Taste f r Lauflicht darf in Verbindung mit dem MaxMover nicht eingese

Wohingegen die analoge Steuerung ausschlie lich den MaxMover steuert MaxMover DMX Two DMX options are offered for the ARRI MaxMover Each option is unique and different in control Option 1 On Location application Basic Operation with DMX This option uses the Basic DMX Converter control box L2 37985 0 This option translates the function of the analog hardwired hand controller into DMX Simple DMX controllers as used in typical location applications may be used with this option of the MaxMover The working principle is described as follows The position of the slider PAN TILT FOCUS equals the direction and speed Center or 50 position of the slider means no movement The movement must be released initially after switching on or loosing the DMX signal The Basic DMX converter may also be used with wireless DMX systems Note For operating L2 37985 0 additonal equipment such as DMX controller and DMX cable is required Option 2 Fully Programmable FP operation with DMX and Moving Light application This option uses the FP DMX upgrade L2 37986 0 and provides full DMX functionality as found on most moving lights Therefore to work in an enviroment with other moving light applications where larger professional control consoles are used the FP DMX upgrade is needed The upgrade needs to be installed by a certified ARRI service location The working principle

35. us Sicherheitsgr nden muss der MaxMover nach einer Blackout oder Flash Funktion wieder freigegeben werden Appendix 2 Basic Operation with DMX Operating Instructions Testing Functions The MaxMover Basic DMX converter provides testing functions for all 3 channels PAN TILT FOCUS In order to access these functions you need to select one of the following individual functions DMX channel 901 PAN testing function DMX channel 902 TILT testing function DMX channel 903 FOCUS testing function After selecting either DMX channel 901 902 or 903 you need to change from the DMX channel selection mode to the DMX value readout mode by pushing button M While holding down button M push additionally either button UPA or DOWNY to test the functionality Note No DMX connection is required to use the testing functions Blackout and Flash Button If the PAN TILT and FOCUS channels are all brought to 100 at once by using a Master Flash button on the DMX Console for instance the MaxMover will stop moving The same will happen when using the Blackout button on the console all channels to 0 This Function does not work if you use the flash button of only one channel A sound to light button must not be used Due to safety reasons the MaxMover must be released after a Blackout or a Flash function see Releasing the operation mode Anhang 2 FP DMX Bedienungsanleitung Inbetriebnahme
