18. the BADUTRONIC 93 is installed more than 3 m below water level max 6 m please take care that a special spring loaded Speck non return valve is installed in the backwash line If one or both of these measures are ignored when the unit is installed below water level a backflow through the valve to the waste water pipe may occur during the switching process which can adversely affect the resetting of the BADUTRONIC 93 The Badutronic valve must be fitted in the pipe work free of tension Inappro priate use of sealants in the threaded connections of the Badutronic valve may damage the valve leading to malfunction This will void any warranty We re commend the use of unions with an axial sealing o ring and even then we addi tionally recommend to carefully use Teflon tape 31 5 3 Electrical The electrical connection of the BADUTRONIC 93 should be performed by a licensed electrician only Remove the transparent housing and connect the Badutronic 93 as shown in the wiring diagram below Make sure that terminals 1 and 3 are connected to the same phase This is absolutely critical because of creepage paths and air gaps in the unit itself Also never mistake terminal 3 for 4 or the other way round Wiring diagram ELECTRONIC UNIT terminals 3 4 max 4 250 V inductive load for higher loads switch pump via a relay or contactor from filter control unit to filter control unit or contactor BADUTRONIC 93
