TES Das MSK 105 wird mit der Antennenbuchse und einem kurzen Antennen Messkabel an der einzustellenden Satelliten Antenne angeschlossen An die empf ngerseitige Receiver Buchse wird vorzugsweise ein Satelliten Receiver angeschlossen um das Messger t und das LNB mit Strom zu versorgen Dazu ist der Receiver auf EIN zu schalten Nun ist das Messger t betriebsbereit Es schickt die zur Ansteuerung des LNB n tigen Steuersignale und wertet das empfangene Signal aus Die Satelliten Antenne kann somit auf den gew nschten Satelliten ausgerichtet werden Nach erfolgreicher Ausrichtung der Antenne kann das Messger t nicht in der Antennenleitung verbleiben da die zum Receiverbetrieb n tigen LNB Steuersignale nicht ber das Messger t in Richtung LNB geschleift werden k nnen Das heisst die Antennenleitung ist direkt mit dem Receiver oder der Sat Verteilung zu verbinden AUSRICHTEN EINER SATELLITEN ANTENNE In Europa stehen alle TV Satelliten ber dem quator das heisst mit Blickrichtung nach S den Hilfreich ist es sich vorher schon ber die etwa zu erwartende Satelliten Position zu informieren Nachdem das Messger t MSK 105 nun entsprechend angeschlossen wurde schalten Sie es durch Dr cken auf die grosse Taste am Messger t ein Es erscheint eine fertige Einstellung zur Signal Messung des in der Anzeige erscheinenden Satelliten Wird eine andere Satelliten Einstellung gew nscht so dr cken Sie die Taste am Ger t so oft bis Ih
3. mm 7 16 REGULAR MAINTENANCE OF REPLACEABLE PLUGS Note Your new meter is equipped with replaceable F plugs that must be checked and replaced at regular intervals to ensure continued reliable performance To remove the plugs use a 7 16 inch 11 mm spanner with torque setting 1 Nm CONNECTING THE METER The MSK 105 is connected to the antenna socket and by a short antenna metering cable to the satellite antenna which is to be set It is preferable to plug a satellite receiver into the reception side receiver socket in order to supply the meter and the LNB with power To this end the receiver should be switched ON Now the meter is ready for use It sends the necessary control signals for activating the LNB and evaluates the signal that is received The satellite antenna can thus be aligned to the desired satellite After successful alignment of the antenna the meter must not remain in the antenna cable since the LNB control signals required for operation of the receiver cannot be looped through the meter in the direction of the LNB Therefore the antenna cable must be connected directly to the receiver the satellite splitter ALIGNING A SATELLITE All European TV satellites are in stationary orbit over the equator so the antenna must face south It is helpful if you already have information about the approximate expected position of the satellite After the MSK 105 meter has been correctly connect
