PCM Cause 2 The input for the PCM connection is not selected at the amplifier Remedy Switch the amplifier to the input to which the PCM output of the PDP 3000 HV is connected 73 No sound when playing an SACD or DSD signals at the USB input Cause Only the PCM output of the PDP 3000 HV is connected to the amplifier Remedy 1 Connect the DSD All Format Out output of the PDP 3000 HV to your amplifier and change the output configuration in the System Configuration menu to DSD PCM Remedy 2 Use separate cables for DSD and PCM playback and connect the DSD All Format Out output of the PDP 3000 HV to your amplifier as well Change the output configuration in the System Configuration menu to DSD PCM Disc drawer fails to open Cause Mechanical blockage jammed disc faulty disc mechanism Remedy Open the disc drawer by hand Before you do this the device must be isolated from the mains supply this is accomplished by withdrawing both mains plugs The disc drawer can now be extended manually using a 4 mm allen key inserted in the opening in the back panel see illustration below turn the allen key in the direction of the arrow until the drawer is fully extended Drawer fails to open or close when the Open Close button is operated Cause During the closing process the drawer was prevented from closing correctly typically by an obstacle and this has triggered
