5. necessario eseguire il programma pkgrm Tale programma rimuove i file del software SunPCi precedente Per eseguire pkgrm effettuare la seguente procedura Verificare che sia ancora attiva la sessione superutente necessario eseguire il programma pkgrm con privilegi di superutente Digitare il seguente comando pkgrm SUNWspci Viene richiesto di confermare il processo di rimozione Inserire s per continuare la rimozione quindi nuovamente s per confermare Il pacchetto SunPCi viene rimosso dal sistema Al termine della rimozione viene visualizzato il messaggio di conferma Rimozione di lt SUNWspci gt completata Inserire il comando exit per chiudere la sessione superutente Viene ripristinata la sessione utente Installazione del pacchetto SunPCi 1 1 possibile installare il software SunPCi su qualsiasi sistema che utilizza Solaris 2 5 1 2 6 o Solaris 7 Il comando utilizzato dipende dalla versione di Solaris in uso Una volta installato il pacchetto seguire le istruzioni contenute nella documentazione SunPCi 1 1 Manuale dell utente per installare Windows NT Workstation 4 0 e il Service Pack 4 Per installare il pacchetto SunPCi 1 1 effettuare la seguente procedura Aprire una finestra di comando terminale nel desktop Solaris Accedere come superutente al sistema sul quale si desidera copiare il pacchetto SunPCi Installazione del software e dell hardware SunPCi it 19 it 20 3 Avviare

Finalizaci n de la instalaci n 1 Retire el brazalete antiest tico de la mu eca y de la estaci n de trabajo 2 Vuelva a poner la cubierta o la parte superior de la unidad en su lugar siguiendo las instrucciones correspondientes al sistema en particular V anse las instrucciones que se incluyen con el sistema 3 Vuelva a conectar todos los cables a la parte posterior del sistema Precauci n No encienda el sistema sin antes haber puesto en su lugar la cubierta de la unidad del sistema que deber quedar debidamente asegurada 4 Pulse el interruptor de encendido para que el sistema vuelva a recibir corriente el ctrica El sistema vuelve a arrancar autom ticamente cuando la unidad del sistema recibe corriente el ctrica 5 Encienda los perif ricos del sistema 6 Entre en el sistema inicie la sesi n como superusuario y contin e con las instrucciones de instalaci n del software SunPCi de la secci n siguiente Nota Si tiene instaladas otras tarjetas PCI en la estaci n de trabajo adem s de la tarjeta SunPCi escriba halt en el s mbolo de superusuario y despu s boot r para iniciar el sistema Esto permite que la estaci n de trabajo reconozca las tarjetas PCI nueva y antigua Si no tiene instalada ninguna tarjeta PCI adicional inicie normalmente es 12 Manual de instalaci n de SunPCi 1 1 septiembre de 1999 Nota Si la estaci n de trabajo no reconoce la tarjeta SunPCi o no se reinicia tras encender el

17. w hlen Sie Packages f r die Verarbeitung aus oder alle um s mtliche Packages zu verarbeiten Standardwert alle q SunPCi Hardware und Software Installation de 21 5 Geben Sie q ein um das Programm pkgada zu beenden Hinweis Wenn vom Programm pkgadd eine Meldung vom Typ BIOS stimmt nicht berein ausgegeben wird m ssen Sie f r das BIOS auf Ihrer SunPCi Karte eine Flash Aktualisierung durchf hren Informationen zur Verwendung des Dienstprogramms sunpciflash finden Sie unter Aktualisierung des BIOS auf Seite de 22 Geben Sie den Befehl exit ein um die Superuser Sitzung zu beenden Sie wechseln zur Sitzung f r regul re Benutzer de 22 Aktualisierung des BIOS Die SunPCi Software beinhaltet ein Dienstprogramm zur Aktualisierung des BIOS auf der SunPCi Karte Dieses Dienstprogramm namens sunpci flash befindet sich in opt SUNWspci bin Wenn Sie bei der Installation des SunPCi Packages eine Warnung vom Typ BIOS stimmt nicht berein erhalten m ssen Sie die Aktualisierung durchf hren Andernfalls ist eine Aktualisierung des BIOS nicht erforderlich Wenn Sie SunPCi starten wird die Versionsnummer des BIOS auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt Beispielsweise wird die Meldung SunPCi BIOS Version 0 050 angezeigt Hinweis Vor dem Ausf hren des Dienstprogramms sunpciflash m ssen Sie SunPCi beenden Zur Aktualisierung des BIOS f hren Sie folgende Schritte durch Melden
