Operating instructions for EVAB Emergency Stretcher Raising lowering of the bed base Press foot pedal 3 marked up down repeatedly until the desired height is reached When lowering the bed base press pedal 4 Adjustment of backrest Lift control handle 6 then raise lower the back to the desired angle Adjustment of Trendelenburg position Lift control handle 6 then raise lower the foot end until the desired angle of the bed base is attained Adjusting to sitting position Raise the backrest to the desired angle in accordance with the above Then raise the foot end by lifting control handle 6 so that a suitabl angle for the seat leg section is attained Lift control handle 7 and lower the leg section to the desired angie All functions must be serviced regularly for satisfactory operation of the stretcher Follow the lubrication maintenance instructions on the stretcher Lowering the foot board Lift the foot board vertically and fold down towards the stop lugs Adjustment of the IV pole Release lever 2 and raise the IV pole then tighten the lever again The IV pole can be positioned in any corner of the stretcher Manoeuvring of the side guards Press notch 10 then fold the side guard towards the foot end of the bed Adjustment of the brake directional control of the wheels Brake press the red pedal 8 downwards and2. all four wheels are then braked and locked Directional control press the green pedal 9 downwards in order to make one wheel at the foot end of the bed directionally locked Always steer from the head end of the bed If the pedal is set parallel to the floor all the wheels are unlocked and the bed can be moved freely in all directions When in need of a service spare parts or in case of queries please contact your local supplier
