Ey Getting Started 3 12 Updating GV NVR System Lite If you like to update your GV NVR System Lite contact your dealer for more information Before contacting your dealer you may check software update news at our website http www geovision com tw 33 C GeoVision Chapter 4 Firmware Upgrade for GV IP Cameras GeoVision will periodically release the updated firmware of GV IP camera on the website The new firmware can be simply loaded into the GV IP camera by using the Web interface of GV IP camera or IP Device Utility of the GV NVR System Lite Important Notes before You Start Before you start updating the firmware please read these important notes 1 While the firmware is being updated A the power supply of the camera must not be interrupted and B donot unplug the Ethernet cable of the camera if the cable is the source of power supply Power over Ethernet or PoE supported 2 Donot turn the camera power off in 10 minutes after the firmware is updated 3 If you use the IP Device Utility for firmware upgrade the GV NVR System Lite used to upgrade firmware must be under the same network of the camera WARNING The interruption of power supply during updating causes not only update failures but also damages to the camera In this case please contact your sales representative and send your device back to GeoVision for repair 34 A Firmware Upgrade for GV IP Cameras 4 1 Using the Web Configuration Interface of
