Page 5 of 9 PROBLEM SOLVING PROBLEM Machine will not start run CAUSE REMEDY EXPLANATION No power is present at Check the power is Using another tool i cable n present with another confirms power is i tool present One of the motors have burnt out and the over load is tripping Have a Oualified person replace the motor Replacing the motor eliminates the problem Machine is not sucking at all The bucket is not on Make sure the bucket is correctly positioned on the main bowl and firmly against the seal If the bucket is not against the seal firmly air can come in and reduce the air flow and or suction Check the seal by eye If the seals are not The seal is missing at and feel around the seal correctly fitted or the bucket area for leaks and replace or re fit missing the air flow and or suction will be greatly reduced The filters are blocked Run the machine with the inlet mostly block off Do not completely block off allow some air in Run for at least 2mins The reverse pulse works much more efficiently at this level of suction thus cleaning the filters The reverse pulse system not working Have Qualified persons check the machine system and rectify the Restores the reverse pulse to its original performance and then it The RP 3000 seems to have lost suction over a period of time on the job correctly problem by replacing can effect

4. e the RP 3000 when constant tripping occurs VOIDS THE WARRANTY The overload is there to protect you and the machine from harm DO NOT alter or adjust the over load in any way If it is faulty only replace with original part that is identical to the faulty one Never operate machine in the rain or if heavy moisture is present Never bypass over current devices in this machine Never connect or disconnect power cables with voltage present or while under load Disconnect all power connections and observe lock out tag out procedures before attempting to carry out any maintenance or repair on any equipment Avoid any contact with any rotating parts or driven parts Never use equipment that has not been tested and tagged including cords Before connecting the machine to power check the condition of all power leads and cables on or used in conjunction with the machine DO NOT USETHE MACHINE if any faults cuts wear marks bare wires out of plugs or sockets etc Get qualified persons to repair and re tag it as required by regulations in your country Connect machine to suitable power outlet Only use heavy duty power lead suitable for high current use preferably 2 5 mm cable no longer than 20 meters If no power is available within the specified distance have a qualified person install a suitable power outlet closer to your work Alternatively use 4 mm cable for up to 40 meters P 07 3217 9877 www AllPreparationEquipment com au
5. istance P 07 3217 9877 www AllPreparationEguipment com au Page 3 of 9 10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Wear clothes suitable for the job and for the work place including safety shoes hard hat hearing protection non fogging vented safety goggles and dust respirator suitable for dust Be sure all equipment is tested and tagged prior to use on any job Connect hose to the dust extractor via a suitable 50mm dust hose If 38mm hose is more practical use the smaller hose after at least 2 meters of 50mm hose This is to reduce the speed of the air coming into the machine The RP 3000 needs some restriction in the hose for the reverse pulse to perform to its maximum ability If there is only a short length of 50mm hose there is not enough restriction and the reverse pulse will not perform effectively The RP 3000 work best with about 8 20 meters of 50mm of hose then you can use a length of 38 mm hose for about 5 meters at the grinder end This also is better for flexibility Ensure the on off switch is in the off position Connect machine to suitable power outlet Only use heavy duty power lead suitable for high current use preferably 2mm cable no longer than 20 meters If no power is available within the specified distance have a qualified person install a suitable power outlet closer to your work Alternatively use 4mm cable for up to 40 meters Keep machine clear of drainage pits and grates or any such hazard Failure
