8. ications in this document are subject to change without notice Drive Terminator User Guide Page 6 of 18 kanepi Services Pty Ltd 2014 All rights reserved User Guide Drive Terminator Version 1 0 The Drive Terminator facilitates users adding an additional layer of protection to their laptops PC s servers to prevent unauthorised personnel from gaining access Such measures could be put into place to mitigate the risk of soreading viruses or unauthorised copying of data The Drive Terminator adds security by providing the ability to disable enable or any combination of the following USB storage device access s DVD CD drives Floppy drives PC keyboard Windows key To further safeguard your system the Drive Terminator incorporates encrypted password protection to prevent unauthorised users from accessing the Drive Terminator functionality 1 1 General functionality The following provides a general overview on the functionality associated with the Drive Terminator A license key is required after installing the application The Drive Terminator licensing screen is the first screen shown after installing the Drive Terminator and provides information being the Application Name and the MAC address of the laptop PC server the Drive Terminator has been installed on that must be entered into the kanepi Services licensing web page hitp www kanepiservices com au licensing other products after whic
