Backbar cabinets underneath the ballast box assembly see Figure 3 below O o N o a e w 10 Refit the unit compartment door Fit non vented ballast box cover Lift box up and drill hole Screw into top hole Ballast Box Assembly Support Bracket Figure 1 Figure 2 Figure 3 New Non Vented Cover Fitted Drilling New Fixing Hole Position Support Bracket Fitted SKOPE INDUSTRIES LIMITED www skope co nz New Zealand Freephone 0800 947 5673 Fax 03 983 3896 Australia Freephone 1800 121 535 Fax 1800 121 5332. service bulletin SKOPE Refrigeration Page 1 of 1 Bulletin No SB0013 Product Group Remote Counterline and Backbar Subject Ballast Box Modification Issue Date 02 02 2006 Content Water Proofing the Ballast Box Ballast Box Modification This service bulletin outlines a modification to SKOPE Remote Counterline and Backbar cabinets in order to reduce the likelihood of water entering the ballast box The modification involves replacing the existing vented ballast box cover with a non vented cover p no JD3102 E89 Counterline cabinets RB2002 E89 Backbar cabinets and repositioning the ballast box at an angle increasing the water resistance of the ballast box To modify the ballast box 1 Disconnect the cabinet from the mains power supply 2 Open the remote unit compartment door by removing the bottom fixing screw and then remove the unit door by undoing the bottom hinge Undo the three top screws holding the vented cover onto the ballast box Remove and discard the vented cover and replace with the new non vented cover Remove the two front screws holding the ballast box to the outside of the cabinet lift the side of the ballast box up until it touches the notch on the cabinet side Using a 2 mm drill drill a hole through the top hole in cabinet side into the ballast box Screw the ballast box in position as shown in Figure 3 below Place the support bracket p no JD3102 678 Counterline cabinets RB2002 678
