Y FALLSHAW E Electrodrive Operating Instructions P a RF Your move safe solution Rugged Binlifter wheels amp castors wt riitti Hn wheel LIFTMASTER safe waste handling solutions Operating Instructions for BLEH121500 BLEH121800 BLHP1500 BLHP1800 FS 604713 Please read this document before operating your Binlifter WARNING This 12 volt operated Binlifters use 240V to recharge the battery The unit has been designed and constructed to be safe but all maintenance of the 240V electrical circuits should be performed by a licensed electrician DO NOT open the enclosed cabinet at the base of the binlifter while the electric power is connected It is recommended that the binlifter be serviced every 6 12 months to ensure the unit operates in peak performance at all times All service must be performed by a qualified service technician from Serviced Equipment Your binlifter is shipped with a red travel cap on the oil reservoir this need to be swaped with a breather cap before operating the binlifter The breather cap and keys are enclosed in an envelope you will have received with your Binlifter attached to the enclosed cabinet at the base of the unit If these are not present please contact our Sales department on 03 3800 8521 Australia only To swap the caps remove the power box s cover and unscrew the travel cap from the oil reservoir Replace this with breather cap and reinstall the cover Do this before connecti
2. bin catcher and one hand on the bin e Rotate the lever down and the bin will release You are now ready to empty your next wheelie bin Some helpful hints e Your Binlifter is fitted with a smart charger the binlifter can be used while charging e Do not allow the battery to go completely flat This will void the manufacturer s warranty The inbuilt charger will not charge the battery from dead flat e All of the electrical connections have been coated with eletro coat to resist water penetrations and humid conditions but do not leave the Binlifter out in the weather unnecessarily e Check the hydraulic reservoir weekly To do this remove the tri nut and remove the unit cover Unscrew the breather cap and read the level on the dip stick which is part of the breather cap If not top up to the correct level rechecking with the dip stick Oil type used Renolin B Plus 32 Replace cover after completing checks Page 4 of5 Safety Notes e The unit can withstand light rain and out door use but it should be stored under cover e The wheelie bin clicks into place If no click check the rim of the wheelie bin and make sure the rim lip is not damaged e The swing part of the Binlifter is painted bright yellow so it can be easily avoided Keep a 2 m exclusion zone around the binlifter while operating e There is a burst hose protection valve built into the cylinder If the hose breaks the swing arm remains where it was when t he

4. ng power Attaching the Binlifter to the bulk dump bin e Wheel Binlifter to front of bulk dump bin and locate main frame against bin Activate total brake on both castors by pressing down on red pedal with your foot Slide both zinc plated bulk bin hooks up from their resting position and locate over the edge of the bin The bulk bin catches are located on each side of the main frame connected to long zinc plated round rods The Binlifter is now firmly held against the dump bin top and bottom Preparing the Binlifter to accept the wheelie bin e Your Binlifter is manufactured with two 2 sets of wheelie bin catches and an adjustable sliding bin retainer o The top catch suits 240 litre bins higher lip o The bottom catch suits 120 litre bins lower lip e Determine your bin size and the bin catch that will be used then by rotating the other bin catcher down through the slot and pulling towards you position the bin catcher out of the way behind the slot e Adjust sliding bin retainer down until it rests on the wheelie bin s lip Page 2 of5 Your Binlifter is now ready for use Preparing to empty the wheelie bin e Wheel your wheelie bin to the front of the bin cradle with the handles facing operator e Tilt wheelie bin back towards you locate the bottom front of bin onto the three locating pins at the bottom of the bin cradle e Push bin up and forward firmly The bin catches will click into place under fr
5. ont lip of bin and hold it in place Make sure that the bin retainer has only 10mm maximum clearance from the top of the bin This stops the bin from sliding forward down the chute when it is in the tipping position Move to the side of the Binlifter e Keep a 2 m exclusion zone around the binlifter e Make sure that there are no overhead obstacles for the swing arm to hit while the binlifter is tipping o Max Height 2 5m for a 1500 Binlifter o Max Height 2 9m for a 1800 Binlifter Page 3 of5 You ready to empty the wheelie bin Emptying the wheelie bin Electric models only e Turn the key to the on position e Press up button on the pendant control unit until the bin is high enough to empty its load o Do not keep the up button pressed once the bin is high enough e Press the down button to lower the bin to its rest position e When the bin cradle is in its lowest position place one hand on the bin catcher and one hand on the bin e Rotate the lever down and the bin will release Hydraulic handpump models only e Pump the handle up and down approx 20 times this will raise the bin high enough to tip its load It will stop pumping at its maximum height e When the bin is empty turn the release valve anti clockwise The bin cradle will lower to its original position e Retighten the release valve Do Not over tighten the release valve e When the bin cradle is in its lowest position place one hand on the
