WAECO Pacific Pty Ltd WAECO Universal Fast Charge Kit RAPS12R U Installation and operating instructions Installation 1 Mount the unit inside the vehicle at the rear on the same side as the main vehicle battery 2 Run the wiring through to the engine bay 3 Connect the red wire to battery and black wire to battery after crimping supplied ring terminals If wiring is too long you may wish to shorten prior to fitting terminals Note that this will also require rewiring the fuse holder to the shortened red wire 4 Connect the blue cable to the ignition circuit using the wire tap connector supplied Testing 1 With vehicle ignition OFF switch up to OFF ON and test voltage at sockets There should be no voltage switch down to ON ALWAYS and test voltage at sockets There should be voltage 2 Start the engine and test socket voltage in both switch positions There should be voltage in both positions 3 Ifno power is found replace the fuse with a 15 amp 3 A G fuse Your Universal Fast Charge Kit is now installed and ready for use Operation e With the switch in the up OFF ON position power is supplied to the sockets only nen tne motor is running When me switch is in the down ON ALWAYS position WARNING Leaving the switch in the down position could flatten your main vehicle battery e Two sockets are included for your convenience giving you the option of using either the 20A2. or 10A version depending on your needs If you do use both sockets simultaneously it is recommended that the total load be restricted to 15 20A max For further information or assistance please call WAECO technical on 07 5507 6040
