MPP TXW Waterproof Transmitter User Manual The MPP TXW is designed for use with the MPP alert pager The transmitter is factory set with a default radio address code Unless there is a problem with interference from similar transmitters you do not need to change this code GENERAL OPERATION The transmitter battery is normally factory fitted on completion of testing If it is not remove the four screws that secure the battery compartment Take care not to loose the screws or the small rubber grommets Remove the battery cover then insert 1x A23 12V battery into the compartment observing the battery polarity markings Replace the cover grommets and screws The transmitter is supplied with a lanyard neck cord and wrist strap Choose which one suits you best OPERATION OF THE TRANSMITTER Make sure the pager or receiver device is switched on Press the blue dome A faint LED will be visible through the material The pager or receiver device will respond to the signal If not check that the pager is switched on Check that the transmit LED is visible through the dome when pressing the button If not refer to battery installation detailed above TRANSMITTER LOW BATTERY WARNING During normal use typical lifetime of the battery will be approximately 12 Months This will vary depending on the number of daily operations When a low battery is detected by the transmitter software a red slowly blinking LED will be visible when the tran
