Maintenance Cleaning Cabinet Many commercially available cleaning products contain solvents that may attack the plastic components of this product and cause them to crack It is important to use only warm water and a small amount of detergent when cleaning this cooler Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners or boiling water o Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply before cleaning o When necessary wipe both the interior and exterior of the cabinet with a damp cloth Do NOT flush the cabinet with water Clean the door gasket once every three months Periodically check the condensation drain hole inside the cabinet to ensure proper drainage of any condensation Condenser The condenser coil is located at the back of the cabinet and should be Coil brushed regularly to remove any dust build up Disconnect the cabinet from the power supply before cleaning the condenser coil 7 A I Condenser coil Maintenance User Manual Maintenance User Manual SERENE HB80 110 Interior Light The cabinet interior light is fitted with a 5 Watt fluorescent lamp Osram 5Wg840 To replace the interior light tube 1 2 a 5 6 Disconnect the cabinet from the mains power supply Remove the light cover by carefully bending out the side clips Pull the fluorescent lamp out of the lamp holder Replace with a maximum 5 Watt fluorescent lamp Carefully align the side clips on the light cover

4. binet see Figure 4 on page 9 The fluorescent light will require a period of time to stabilise following initial start up See page 10 for instructions on replacing the fluorescent lamp The cooler should be left running for 30 minutes to allow the cabinet to cool down before loading with product When loading the cabinet shelves with product o Allow air space around all the product for even cooling and efficient operation of the cooler Do not exceed a maximum of 30 kg per shelf Do not allow products to overhang the front or rear of the shelves as this will affect air flow Do not obstruct air flow from the evaporator fan inside the cabinet Do not block the drain hole inside the cabinet Operation User Manual Operation User Manual SERENE HB80 110 Temperature Adjustment The storage temperature of the cooler is regulated by a thermostat located at the back of the cabinet interior The thermostat temperature setting is preset at the factory and should not require adjustment The thermostat knob is graduated from 0 through to 6 with 1 being the warmest and 6 being the coldest The normal temperature controller setting is between 2 and 3 If further adjustment is required a To make colder turn the thermostat knob clockwise a To make warmer turn the thermostat knob anti clockwise Note Turning the knob to O will switch the refrigeration system off Y4Ig102 Thermostat knob SERENE HB80 110 3

6. elf on model HB80 has hooks on the back which lock the shelf in position The two top shelves on model HB110 have hooks on the back which lock the shelves in position Shelves Positioning The cooler is supplied with a power cord fitted with a 3 pin plug which exits behind the refrigeration system The power cord should be retrieved before the cabinet is positioned Ensure the power supply can be easily accessed once the cabinet is positioned so the cabinet can be disconnected from the power supply for cleaning and maintenance Ensure adequate ventilation is provided around the cooler The cooler should not be recessed or enclosed in a cabinet It is designed for free standing installation only The recommended clearance on both sides and at the back of the cabinet is 50mm The maximum normal operating conditions are 32 C climatic class 5 When positioning the cabinet o Avoid direct sunlight and warm draughts etc o Allow adequate space for the door to open fully o Ensure the cabinet is positioned on a level surface so the door shuts and seals correctly and to prevent the condensate tray from overflowing This cooler has a stabiliser foot located underneath the door hinge After final positioning the stabiliser foot should be screwed firmly down to floor level to stabilise the cabinet Turn the stabiliser foot clockwise to raise the cabinet or anti clockwise to lower the cabinet SERENE HB80 110 2 Operation Refrigera
