EUROLEC INSTRUMENTATION LTD PR SERIES PORTABLE MANOMETER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Battery Fitting Open the Battery compartment by removing the two screws from the bottom of the Instrument and lifting off the cover Insert one 9 Volt battery PP3 style MN 1604 or equivalent with terminals facing down The orientation of the battery is not important the instrument will work with the battery fitted either way Refit the battery compartment cover NOTE e The PR series of manometers are only suitable for use with non corrosive non ionic liquids and gases e Operating amp media temperature range 0 to 50 C e Do not over tighten the pressure port fittings e For the PR204A absolute manometer a reference atmospheric reading is required Operation Depress the button marked to turn the Instrument ON and the button marked to turn it OFF Allow reading to stabilise then set the manometer to zero by pressing and holding the zero adjust button marked 0 0 for approx 3 seconds The display should show OFF to indicate a zero offset has been applied For best results apply a positive pressure to the pressure port anda negative pressure to the pressure port allow to stabilise There is a backlight facility for low light areas It is operated by pressing the backlight button This should last approx 5 seconds There is an auto shut off facility which will turn the instrument off automatica2. lly after approx 3 minutes Rev 000 Do Not Over Pressure refer to the table below for max pressure limits Pressure Range mBar 20 Max Over Pressure mBar 250 750 2000 2000 4000 10000 100 500 1000 2000 7000 When the battery symbol appears on the display the battery needs replacing Fit new battery as per instructions above before taking any further readings If the Err message is shown on the display then there is over pressure applied or the sensor has been damaged Environmental Specification Standard instruments are designed to be splash proof IP64 All models can be supplied as waterproof IP67 as an optional extra Warranty This instrument has been carefully assembled and tested and is warranted against faulty workmanship and materials for 2 years from the date of purchase During the warranty period any defective instrument will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of the manufacturer This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from misuse or accident Modification adjustment or any alteration with the internal arrangement of the instrument shall absolve the manufacturer from any liability in respect of the instrument Any instrument to be repaired should be forwarded to the manufacturer carriage paid and at the owner s risk A brief description of the fault should be included TOI II III In Eurolec Instrumentation Ltd Techno
