10. how it sticks to the dashboard On the windscreen If the dashboard is too far away from thedriver the unit bracd d cen be fitted irectly to the windsceen using the suction mechanism gt If theadapter plate 4 isd ready secured at the foot 5 removethis Pull the le ver 3 upwards and renovethe adapter plate 4 downwerds for this purpose gt Find asuitable postion gt Press the base 5 with its suction sur face against the windshidd gt Rotete the unit bracket so that the sup port plate is roughly in the direction of viewing required gt Press the lever 3 downwards T he bracket will have stuck firmly to the windscreen It can now be s predsdy T o remove actuatethe lever 3 again On the dashboard An adapter plateis provided for mounting on the dashboard T his is tuck on to the dashboard T he mounting face may only be sightly curved Note If the adapter plate is removed you may find residue from the gue on your da board gt Find asuiteble position gt Remove the protective film from the lower contact surface of the adapter plate 4 Press the adapter plae 4 onto the instrument pand 2 Takethe unit holder pull the lever 3 upwards and position the base 5 with its suction surface into the upper con tact surface of the adapter 4 gt Tum the unit holder such that the car ria plate is postioned roughly in the desired viewing direction gt Pressthe lever 3 downwards
