1. heater from box please save the carton for off season storage 2 The heater must be placed on a firm level surface 3 Plug the cord set into a electrical outlet Be sure plug fits tightly in outlet A loose fit will cause overheating and damage the plug Plug and cord set may feel warm during normal usage Once plugged in the Power Light will illuminate NOTE Avoid overloading your circuit by not using other high wattage appliances in the same outlet At 1500 watts this unit draws 12 5 Amps 4 When turn on the Rotary power switch the red light will come on indicating that there is power to the unit The red light will remain lit until the Rotary power switch is turned off and the heater is unplugged from the electrical outlet 5 Rotate the Rotary power switch to set the function 0 ji Off Fan Low heat mode High heat mode 6 Turn on the Oscillating switch will allow the heater eS to oscillate left and right To stop the oscillation turn a NS off the oscillating button f AW 7 To turn the heater off rotate the Rotarv power switch to O position then remove plug from power G acy outlet SAFETY FEATURES 1 A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent Joo o o dA overheating Rotary power Oscillating switch switch 2 When an overheat temperature is reached the heater will be automatically shut off It can only resume operation when the unit to cool down TROUBLE SHOOTING TIP

S If your heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate one of the above mentioned safety features may have activated to prevent overheating 1 Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet 2 Check your thermostat setting The heater may be off because it has reached the desired temperature setting MAINTENANCE WARNING ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER CLEANING IMPORTANT DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER Clean the heater grills with the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART Clean the body of heater with a soft cloth CAUTION Do not use gasoline benzine thinner harsh cleaners etc as they will damage the heater NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS STORAGE Store the heater with these instructions in the original carton in a cool dry place IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2002 96 EC At the end of its working life the product must not be disposed of as urban waste It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving form inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be r
