3. ften the securityProbe polls information from the PMS unit e Connection Time out This option allows you to adjust the time in seconds the securityProbe will wait for a response from the PMS before timing out e Retry You can set the number of times the securityProbe will retry after a timeout has occured When you are happy with the changes you have made click finish Meter Name PMS 1 Meter ID 1 Change Configurations Meter Status Meter Currently Sensor Name Avanced setup options Scan Meter Page The scan meter page displays further options that we did not go in to in the basic setup procedure lets look at those now Scan Range By default this is set to scan ID d ranging from 1 256 Scan range 4 To ID 256 Y Auto Online Add Meter By clicking the Add Meter button you will now be shown the following options Scan Meter gt gt lt lt Add Meter Change Meter ID gt gt Meter Name New Power Meter Meter ID 0 Meter Phase Single Phase Three Phase Add Meter Meter Name This Option allows you to select a custom name for your new meter Meter ID Here you can assign an ID to your new meter Meter Phase This allows you to select if your meter is either a single phase or a three phase unit Add Meter Click here when you have made your changes Change Meter ID This page allows you to change the ID assinged to your PMS unit By default all units a
4. ou will now be taken to the meter settings page here you will have various options listed Meter Name Pms 1 MeterID 1 Change Confiqurations Meter Status Normal Meter Currently E Enable Online Sensor Offline Sensor Edit Sensor e Meter Name This option allows you to rename your meter to a name of your choosing e Meter ID Here the ID of your PMS module is displayed you also have the options to change your configurations e Meter Status Here you can view the status of your meter e Meter Currently This shows your meter s online status Once you are happy with the Various options displayed you will need to online your PMSmeter You can do this by clicking Online Sensor this will present you with the following options Reading Total active power Unit Text kwh GF Click Reading for the following options Reading Phase Line1 Active power Phase Line Active power Phase Line3 Active power Phase Line1 Voltage Phase Line Voltage Phase Line3 Voltage Phase Line1 Current Phase Line Current Phase Line3 Current Phase Line1 Power factor Phase Line Power factor Phase Line3 Power factor When you have selected your prefered reading click Next to continue You will now be brought to the Power Meter Menu new options are now presented Polling Interval 1 5 15 secs Connection Timed Out will retry in 10 10 secs Retry 3 Times Cancel Back Finish e Polling Interval Here you can select how o
5. re assigned 1 as the ID so if you have two power units you will need to change the ID number to 2 on one of the power modules Meter ID Range 1 256 Change ID 1 To ID A Change Notifications Not all meter readings require notifications however in this section we will look at Phase line 1 Active Power so that you understand the process After you have selected Phase line 1 active power from the dropdown list see page you will be brought to a screen that displays the following information a al a al Low Critical 200 400 600 800 High Critical Low Warning High Warning Low Critical Low Warning High Warning High Critical Adjusting thresholds you can adjust the notification thesholds by either dragging the blue markers left and right or by inputting a value in the fields below Click next when you are done After clicking Next you will be brought back to the Polling Options page discussed previously in the manual Polling Interval 15 15 secs Connection Timed Out will retry in 10 10 secs Retry 13 Times
