81. d the reasoning behind why this functionality was introduced as an enhancement The main reason is due to the potential time difference between a user submitting a drawing for processing and it actually being processed i e queue volume During which time the content of the referenced models could have changed Therefore locking the references prior to submitting the drawing for processing is the preferred solution and one which has to be completed by the system Cabinet Explorer has been developed to include a Stage Configuration which on workflow a drawing locks all of its references This locking is achieved by changing the Stage of the references to one which has been configured to not allow edit Furthermore this Stage will have been configured so that the only option available to the user is to unlock the file a configuration which simply revises the reference to an editable Stage The user is warned if they are about to lock any of the drawing s references allowing them to make an informed decision as to whether or not to continue the workflow action It also informs the user if the drawing cannot be processed due to any of its references being Checked Out if they are in a non lockable Stage or if they do not have permission to perform that workflow action An example is shown below showing a drawing in a Stage which is configured to abide by these rules Name Version Description Skage AUINE DAN Dee H Master Design
