CONNECTION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BLACK WIRE to Battery Negative or Chassis RED WIRE to Battery Positive or 12 volts GREEN WIRE to Spark Coil CB Connection or Tacho Output on Sparkbox BLUE WIRE via Toggle Switch to Battery Negative or Chassis Normal operation is achieved with the toggle switch open circuit It is suggested that this position be labelled RUN and the closed position READ or TELL TALE To read Tell Tale with power applied to the tachometer move toggle switch READ position The Tell Tale is automatically reset to Zero when the toggle switch is moved back to the RUN position as long as power is still applied to the tachometer Ifthe toggle switch is setto READ so displaying the Tell Tale and the power is disconnected from the tachometer then when power is re applied the Tell Tale will again be displayed If however in the above situation the toggle switch is moved back to its RUN position while the power is disconnected then the Tell Tale wil still be in the memory It will be necessary to move the toggle switch to READ then back to RUN with the power applied to reset the Tell Tale
