Anderson K327 Audio Visual Equipment Operating Instructions University of Strathclyde 1 To start touch the screen with your hand The University crest will appear 2 Touch the screen again You should now see a selection of buttons which relate to the A V equipment available for use ta projector Press the LAPTOP button on the Touch screen The electric screen will come down and the data projector will switch on simultaneously Now plug the VGA cable ay into the monitor socket on your laptop If your presentation includes audio you must also plug in the mini jack plug gt into the green headphone socket as You should now see your desktop projected on screen If you cannot see the image you may have to toggle your laptop Please refer to the table below to find the correct key combination for your particular model TBM Son Fn F7 Toshiba Fns F5 Dell Epson Fnr FS Panasonic NEC Fn F3 Hewlett Packard Fn FS Fujitsu Fn F10 Sharp F7 F5 Apple F7 Shutting the system down Press the SHUTDOWN button on the TOUCH SCREEN The display will change and ask you to confirm press the YES button After about 20 seconds the screen will return to show the University crest Using the VHS DVD playor with the Data projector To start follow steps 1 and 2 then press the VCR or DVD button on the TOUCH SCREEN The electric wall screen will come down and the data p2. rojector will switch on simultaneously All the VCR and DVD transport controls will now appear in the centre of the TOUCH SCREEN Switch on the VHS DVD player which is housed in the cabinet at the far end of the room Insert your DVD disc or VHS tape and use the TOUCH SCREEN controls as required You can adjust the sound volume from here too using the up and down arrows The room lighting can also be controlled to suit your needs from the icons located on the left hand side of the touch screen Shutting the system down Press the SHUTDOWN button on the TOUCH SCREEN The display will change and ask you to confirm press the YES button After about 20 seconds the screen will return to show the University crest ASSISTANCE If you experience difficulty with the AV equipment or wish to report a fault please contact Learning Services on Tel ext 5999 or 0141 548 5999 Email LS roomsupport strath ac uk Web www learningservices strath ac uk
