3. ains wall socket to the ON position Switch on hard drive at the mains wall socket before switching on the recorder The AVN 200 Portable DVD Interview Recorder can now be switched on by the ON OFF button which is located on the front of the DVD Recorder module The LCD message display will display the message PLEASE WAIT Switch on hard drive at the mains wall socket When the LCD message display shows the following message PRESS EJECT TO INSERT NEW DVDs then the AVN 200 Portable DVD Interview Recorder is ready to be used To make a Recording 1 PRESS THE EJ ECT BUTTON TO OPEN THE TRAYS 2 PLACE 2 BLANK DVD Rs INTO THE TRAYS PRINTED SIDE UP THEN PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON AGAIN AND THE DVD TRAYS WILL CLOSE 3 WAIT FOR THE SYSTEM TO PERFORM INITIAL CHECKS THE MESSAGE CHECKING DVDS WILL BE DISPLAYED nb if the DVDs are not blank not inserted already recorded or the wrong type the system will reject the DVDs and you will need to replace the disc s 4 WAIT UNTIL THE ALARM SOUNDS WITH THE MESSAGE READY TO RECORD THEN PRESS THE RECORD BUTTON THE EQUI PMENT WILL NOW START RECORDING To stop Recording 5 PRESS AND HOLD THE STOP BUTTON UNTIL THE ALARM SOUNDS WITH THE MESSAGE RECORDING STOPPED THE RECORDING HAS FINISHED nb an interview can be recorded for up to 1 hour 55 minutes and will stop automatically when it reaches this duration A 5 minute warning alarm will sound at 1 hour 50 minutes to advis
