1. be connected together using the connector You can attach the Shift I Display Unit wires with the provided self locking ties Scud Ing E Chemin du Gresalley 1 E CH 1627 Vaulruz Switzerland W F430 Progressive Shift Light Checking the installation Maybe you ve noticed that once the OBD II connector is plugged the Interface LED indicator will illuminate constantly This is normal and will happen each time the connector is plugged which is powering the Interface for the first time In this case the Interface will not go in sleep mode until you cycle at least once the ignition key The Can Bus Interface will power on automatically as soon as the ignition key is switched on grace to the F430 B Can Bus activity detection The LED indicator should flash constantly when Can Bus activity is detected If the LED indicator is illuminated constantly while ignition is on the Interface is functioning but can t detect the Can Bus activity Make sure that the OBD II connector is correctly plugged in If the LED fails to illuminate the Interface is not powered Make sure that the OBD II connector is correctly plugged and or the condition of the battery With ignition on the Shift I display unit will display the current battery voltage As soon as the engine is running the display unit will switch into rom mode Important Please note that the display unit has been set with a calibration value of 1 while the default value is 2 If you res

F430 Progressive Shift Light User Guide Thank you for purchasing the Plug and Play version of the F430 Progressive Shift Light We hope you ll enjoy this additional device on your car The device can be easily installed on a F430 as no specific wiring is required The rom pulse used by the Shift I display unit is translated every 50ms from the broadcasted data on the B Can bus This is achieved through a specific Can Bus interface included in this kit The interface integrates also a power management feature With only the ignition on it will automatically power the Shift display unit In this case the battery voltage will be displayed While the engine is cranked the voltage drop can be observed As soon as the engine is running the Shift I will switch into rom display mode By default a range of 1 000 to 7000 rpm with steps of 1000 rpm is configured You can change how the rpm values should be displayed like for instance from 6000 rpm to 8500 rpm with steps of 500 rpm Please refer to the Shift l user guide to discover many options which can be personalized Installation instructions The kit has two parts The Shift I Display Unit connected to the Can Bus Interface ECU The Can Bus Interface ECU connected to the F430 OBD II diagnostics connector Scud Ing S rl Chemin du Gresalley1 W CH 1627 Vaulruz Switzerland W info Scuding ch www Scuding com Page 1of 4 F430 Progressive Shift Light The display unit can eas
