88. then lifting out n ny Q WURLITZER gt SECTION COIN SWITCH ADJUSTMENTS Remove ANGLE and GUARD ASSEMBLY to obtain access to coin switch A With coin switch paddles resting flush against bottom of slug rejector verify spacing between switch mounting bracket and cover and clip assembly is 1 4 Tension of the long movable blades must be sufficient to hold the coin switch paddles against bottom of slug rejector C The stiffener blades should be set to provide 1 32 opening between short and long mov able contact blades D The short blades must bear against stiffeners with sufficient tension to prevent vibration This should be approximately one gram on the 10 cent blade and two to three grams on the 5 25 and 50 cent blades The tension of the long movable blades should be adjusted so a thin coin when stopped on it s coin paddle by holding the paddle up will upon releasing the paddle actuate the movable blade close the contacts then clear paddle 1 Install SLUG REJECTOR in phonograph and apply power 2 Test each individual coin track ten consecutive times with coins of varied wear If a coin fails to register that particular coin switch should be examined and if necessary readjusted Check SLUG REJECTOR for proper alignment A pulse of more than five seconds duration should normal
