10. power up Cooling Requirements Amplifier use aforced air coolingsystem to maintaina low even operating temperature Drawn by ainfinitely variable speedfans mounted inside the unit airenters through the front grills with dustfilter and courses through the cooling fins ofthe heatsinks which dissipates power transistor heat before exiting through the rear panel ports Make surethat there is enough space aroundthe front ofthe amplifier toallow air toenter andaround the units to allow the heated air to exit If the ampis rack mounted donot use doorsor covers onthe front and rearof the rack the air mustflow through the amplifier without resistance Note whatever typeof rack youare using make sure that the heated air canescape freely and that thereis not resistanceto the intake of cool airthrough the frontgrill Configuration Use the configuration switch configurate the amplifier to meetyour requirements The setup must be donewith the unitswitched off Withthe switches andjumpers is possible to configurate the amplifierfor the following functions Reference Manual Page 7
