Signature5000 is having loss of registration problem The grit tracks should be identical If one grit track is more pronounced than the other or if one grit track has a markedly different pattern than the other you need to correct the problem You may be able to correct a loss of registration problem by adjusting from the keypad the Signature5000 pen settings for speed and acceleration Before you adjust any keypad settings consider these possibilities m Inspect the plot media for wrinkles or folds Never use any media that is folded wrinkled or tom in any way Allow the media to stabilize temperature and humidity prior to plotting m Check the size of the plot media If you are executing large plots use only high quality stiff flat and stable media Large plots tend to be more susceptible to loss of registration because of the greater distance between the chart wheels and because they require more grit shaft force A sudden shift of plotted data may be the result of changing to or from a pen that is not concentric to its barrel Check the pen tip for damage In this situation there would be no change in the grit tracks on the media If you ve determined that you need to adjust the Signature5000 pen speed and acceleration settings to improve registration perform this procedure 1 Make sure that the main menu is displayed on the keypad LCD 2 Press 24 arrow 3 Press Ft Setup 4 Press F3 Pens
