J L FISHER MODEL ELEVEN CAMERA DOLLY OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS I THIS DOLLY FEATURES THREE STEERING MODES A CRAB all four wheels steer parallel B CONVENTIONAL front wheels locked rear wheel steering C ROUND front and rear wheels steer on opposite axis To shift the dolly from one steering mode to another the steering post must be in the straight position in alignment with the push posts To select different steering mode move the shift lever to the right and into the desired mode II TO MOUNT DOLLY ON STRAIGHT OR CURVED SQUARE TRACK A Shift the dolly into crab or round steering and turn the steering handle so all four wheels are in the widest position B Shift Dolly to conventional steering mode c Roll the front of Dolly camera end up ramps and onto the track If Dolly is being used on curved or a combination of curved and straight track pull front steering latches back toward steering end and insert the front pins in the yellow marked holes above latches at the front end of camera dolly If dolly is being used on straight track only the use of pins may not be necessary and any steering mode may be used D Push down all four front guide rollers inside the track until they lock down Be sure guide rollers are locked E Roll the rear end of Dolly onto track and push down all four front guide rollers inside of track until they lock down Be sure guide rollers are lockeq The dolly is now ready to use on strai
4. ght or curved square track Note If the camera dolly is being used on curved track only it may be operated in the round steering mode without the front pins installed Camera dollies should be equally loaded balanced when on any track III TO REMOVE DOLLY FROM TRACK A Move rear of Dolly to end of track B Unlock guide rollers by lifting red marked latches on all four rear guide rollers Raise guide rollers to their full up position C Roll rear of Dolly down ramps and off the track leaving front of Dolly on the track D Unlock guide rollers by lifting red marked latches on all four front guide rollers Raise guide rollers to their full up position Remove pins if pins were used Lock the front spindles in the straight position be sure front wheels are locked in place Front wheels are self locking at correct alignment straight E Roll front of dolly down the ramps and off the track A battery rack is provided to store camera batteries Rout camera battery cable from battery to camera through opening in frame and along side of beam using cable guides provided leave enough slack for lift beam operation Tire pressure all tires should have the same air pressure Maximum 60 PSI 4 ATM Keep clear Keep Beam Trough area clear of all objects batteries cables feet boxes etc To charge the hydraulic lift system on the Dolly plug power cord into any proper electrical outlet Dolly operates on 80 to 240 volts A C or
